PTA: Dusk Island (IC)

[planswalker]

Coatlicue will twist around to I4 and, assuming nothing is down that corridor, leave that side-path and continue on down to I1.

[Kairose]

Coatlicue finds nothing down the corridor, and rounds the next corner as commanded, seeing no signs of the remaining target.


Coatlicue is at I1.
Joan's remaining pokémon unknown.

[planswalker]

Coatlicue will move to O2. If she STILL sees no sign of the 'mon in either branch of the path there, she'll spend her next two turns to advance to O10 then N8.

[Kairose]

Coatlicue sees nothing at the next intersection, but as she advances closer to her entrance, she spots another Houndoom ahead of her.


Coatlicue is at O10.
Joan's remaining Houndoom is at O11.

Glad to see his random wild guess get luck, Collin has Coatlicue close the distance and tag the bad puppy.

[Kairose]

Just as the Houndoom turrns around to retreat, Coatlicue lunges in and tags it out, ending the match. Joan recalls her pokémon as she congratulates Collin on his victory. The platforms the two are standing on are lowered, and Joan presents Collin with a Shadow Badge. "Good job, normally you'd get a bit more than just the badge, but with the situation as it is now, I can't be giving away supplies we might need elsewhere." Turning back to the crowd, Joan begins a short post-challenge speech. "Thank you for coming, everyone. Times have been hard since the event, but if we all continue to work together, we shall prevail, and restore this island to what it once was." Joan leaves the room, and the crowd begins to thin out. The time is now 10:00 AM.

[Darchias]

Mueki returns from the honestly frustrating task of training her Weedle and notices everyone chatting excitedly about the arena. Wondering what had occurred, but too shy to ask a stranger, she looks for her companions.

Once she finds someone, she asks what happened at the arena, as she had not watched.

Dave gets up and makes his way to Collin and asks. "You got a minute? I could use your help in the training room."

[planswalker]

Collin grins and says, "Thank you for the opportunity to face you. I hope someday things are restored enough that I can come back and challenge you to a true battle." Collin will make his way down and look for his friends. The sense of the Earth was strong all about him, and he felt capable of anything.

Dave gets up and makes his way to Collin and asks. "You got a minute? I could use your help in the training room."

"Sure. Lead the way."

In the training room Dave says "I caught a rare electric type this morning this is my first time letting it out of the ball to introduce it to the team, and I would just like some backup in case it is still hostile" When Collin is ready Dave will let his pokemon out and then the Rotom and assuming it doesn't immediately go crazy say "You don't have to worry your safe now I'm Dave this is Collin and these are..." *he goes down the list of pokemon out* "we are all like you trying to survive in the dark. So are you hungry? I can definite get you a meal and care for you if you agree to help us. Our chances of survival are better together rather than separated. " Dave waits for a responce

Collin will have Ganga out at the ready, just in case.

[Darchias]

Mueki wandered, eventually stumbling upon the training room and the introduction within. She glanced at the unfamiliar Pokemon, only coming to one conclusion. An ergovore? Might be tricky to feed that one... She did not say anything however, holding back and not wanting to disturb the meeting.

Blake watches the unusual contest and thinks, He definitely made an interesting choice, there... I'd have gone for something with better tracking skills myself. Still, he did well...

Thinking for a moment, he looks around for his companions, and seeing Mueki lingering near the entrance to the training room makes his way over as well, Celeste trailing behind him.

[Kairose]

The electricity pokémon just looks around confused, unsure at what had happened to it. At the mention of 'food', it looked at Dave, seeming happy to be offered a meal.

[passinglurker]

"Alright then lets head to the mechanics and see what they can whip up for ya" Dave recalls all his mons but nosey, and buzz gives Collin two basic balls and a great ball, and then heads out when he bumps into Blake and Mueki he hands Blake two basics and an ultra and says "Hey guy I found a Rotom." he says with a smile he then says to Blake "I owe you a dusk ball by the way, but on the plus side it was a clean catch no fighting"

He then heads to the work shop to ask the mechanics if its alright to hook the Rotom up to the power.

[BluesEclipse]

Nodding at Dave, Blake says, "Glad to see you got a good catch out of it, at least." As Dave heads off, he says to Collin, "Nice job out there, by the way... anyway, I suppose the question becomes, what's the plan now? I don't think there's anything specific we need to do... I'm debating heading out to try and see if I can't reach the hospital. Could probably get our hands on some useful supplies there..."

[Darchias]

Mueki, who had been staying silent, spoke at this time. "Ummm... I wouldn't mind heading there. If nothing else, people would of collected there and we can find more people to join the gym." She stands awkwardly, obviously unsure of what to say.

[planswalker]

"Well, I promised myself that I would return to the cave system and look for a pokemon I saw there but was unable to catch. My only problem is that I'm currently low on pokeballs. I guess the hospital is as good a place as any to look for pokeballs or potential supplies for one." While Collin was saying all this, he felt somewhat distracted. There was this odd sensation between him and the ground under him. Not totally sure what to make of it, he'll ignore it for the moment.

Dave shouts back "The hospital is fine by me but we should get Mueki a bike so it doesn't take all day"

[planswalker]

"Sounds like a good idea to me."

[BluesEclipse]

Nodding, Blake says, "Dave makes a good point... let's see if we can scrounge you up some wheels, then, shall we?" With that, Blake decides to ask around and see if anyone knows of or has any bike parts to be found - trying to help whoever he asks with any minor, brief tasks they're doing at the time as well.

[Darchias]

Mueki nods and meekly follows Blake, thinking of her previous bicycle experiences. She brushes the side of her head nervously, her thick hair hiding the scar tissue from said experiences. Absently she releases Punipuni and holds him for comfort.

[planswalker]

Collin will wait out front for the others, not trusting himelf to not get in trouble if he goes haring off on his own. His track record for that isn't too hot.

[Kairose]

After about an hours of searching and helping people with random tasks, you manage to get enough parts to make a full bike. When the bike is assembled, Fred approaches the group. "Oh, here you are. You've done a good job so far, so I thought it might be a good idea to have you handle this. Anna has reported demolitions in the Casino district, and we think it might be the same group that attacked the mall. Think you could check it out?"

Apparently having no trouble getting his Rotom a meal Dave was in a good mood up until hearing this. He then goes into serious mode "Is this a recon mission or are you expecting us to take out these murderers if we find them?"

[BluesEclipse]

Blake blinks, and mutters to himself, "Demolitions... why would anyone..." before Dave speaks up. At his question, Blake thinks for a moment, and says, "What he said - are we actively seeking them out, or are we just scouting things for the moment? Admittedly, I wouldn't mind the chance to find out just what's going on here... and just what they're hoping to accomplish."

[Darchias]

Mueki's uncertainty grew. She had been hiding and ended up trapped in rubble before the explosion went off. She was miraculously mostly unhurt, but she had been terrified out of her mind. "W-we... are going t-to find the bombers?" She attempted valiantly to keep the quavering note out of her voice but only partially succeeded.

[passinglurker]

"I hope so" says a dead serious Dave sharpening a knife "and this time they aren't gonna be able to take the easy way out" *scrape!* *scrape!* *scrrraaape!

[Kairose]

"We don't know how many there are, but the priority is to prevent them from doing any more damage. If you think you can handle it, it'd be best if you take them out, but don't get in over your heads."

[planswalker]

Collin clenches his fists in anger at the mention of the bombers, too angry for words at the moment. When the discussion reaches a bit of a conclusion, he'll say, "They will pay for their assaults on the Earth and us its children."
