I settled on a flatcap as a a good compromise between affordable and worth the money, and between a working cap and a fancy cap. With your hair cut, a broad brimmed hat, fedora or cowboy would work? I would go with your jaw and long sleeves, but cargo shorts would work best with a flatcap, too. Hm.

As for where, I went to a large mall and looke for the ritziest outlet they had. Otherwise, I'd save up and hit a known and verified Internet dealer, since once you jump fom $25 USD up to a good, expensive hat you want to make sure you are getting your money's worth.

Have you considered 'shopping random hats onto a portrait to see what looks good?

The "Twilight" tetralogy was the worst waste of two days EVER. The only things worse I've ever read have been tween girl fanfics. Ew.

Then you're very fortunate or I've been very unfortunate and I don't want to ruin it for you. Stories where it's just a gender-flip of a standard heteronormative romance would be preferable to what I've most commonly encountered.

Admittedly, it's a rather limited experience, but most of what I've encountered has been due to recommendations or from female peers to explain their fascination with the genre.

Tetralogy is the technically correct term, but I've heard "quadrilogy" used to refer to trilogy creep tetralogies to emphasize how they're a trilogy, plus one.


In other news, I recently ran into some friends of mine from high school I hadn't talked to in years who also moved across the country for their new jobs. Funny thing is, the four of them moved into what one of them termed "Gayville, USA" without realizing the area's reputation; it apparently took them a week or two to figure out why their coworkers would find four guys getting an apartment together there amusing.

Of course, that made coming out to them amusing as well:
