"Well, there's this one poor girl," Quinn says, motioning torwards Kitty on the medbed, "who I can't determine what the cause of her problem is..."

The 'poor girl' in question happens to be a young woman who looks to be in her mid twenties. She has tanned skin and orange-red hair. Perhaps most notably is the three fox tails poking out from under her.

At the moment, Kitty doesn't seem too sick or anything like that. She's resting mostly comfortably on the bed, with her head propped up by pillows and more pillows under her back and legs so she isn't lying right on her tails.

Also in the room is a woman with long green hair and what appears to be artificial skin. She appears to be either asleep or relaxing... maybe meditating? She's sitting up straight, eyes closed, and breathing deeply.

It wouldn't have come up, but she's here with Kitty, so she would be here right now.

Yuki sits down with her friends to enjoy her ice cream, and enjoy it she does. She quickly will eat her entire bowl in record time. Carefully scooping up each and every drop.

"I don't. Pets are when you have an animal, right?"

She doesn't quite understand it, but it's not a hard idea.

"Caretaker is the best pet ever!" Brinika announces cheerfully. The drone bobs up and down as if in confirmation.

"It's pretty much like that," he tells Keo, "but if robots count, it's not just animals, I guess. Where'd you get that? Does Underside have technology like that."

Outside

"I'm Natalie Flome. I think I have a noble title from my mother, but there's a list of ones that are invalidated by marrying a commoner, which Dad technically is, since he lacks a hereditary title and I don't know what the title is anyway." But her dad has been knighted for services to education; he runs a very good university.

Hearing this, Thel bows again and somehow manages to bow even more extravagantly and exagerratedly than last time. "A lady is a lady is a lady, my lady," he says as his hare ears almost touch the ground. "And know the entire Greyfoot family (currently consisting of just me) is at your service."

"Silly rabbit," is all she has to say about that. "S'a plaesure to meet yee, Naturlie," she says.

Keo look up at caretaker. Keo has never been sure what to make of the flying drone... it's just very weird!

She glances at Yuki, to see how she enjoys it. And is surprised to see how fast she's eating it.

Krystal smiles and waves back to Quinn on her way to the little office area.

Hey, Quinn. Did I miss anything important while I was out?

"Yeah, really. Eating it slow means you enjoy it for longer, too," Jamie points out with a grin.

Kitty blinks at the... person(?) that is suddenly talking to her. "Oh, uh, you're with the medical staff here? Sure, go ahead." The kitsune sits up a little straighter.

"Very well," he says, and his hands (which he's holding together about 2 feet above Kitty) begin to flow together, then spread out. "While this may seem odd, I would like you to relax. Now, what symptoms are you having?" By the time he finishes the sentence, his hands have spread into a large rectangle of light which is the size of Kitty's entire body.

Brinika's ears droop and she looks and sounds sad.
"A lady named Sunny made him, but she had to leave. And she left him with me."

Nicholas the cat walks over to the two girls and meows. Why don't you pay attention to him, two-legs? =I

Kitty seems very distracted by the rectangle of light, but she still replies. "I've just been feeling weird all the time. I'm not sure how to describe the feeling. Then, not very long ago, I felt like I had to eat. So I kept eating till I felt like I was going to explode, and then I never felt like I had to eat anymore."

Yuki smiles a bit embaressed and slows down a bit.

"Brain freeze? That doesn't sound fun at all. I have enough problems with my brain I don't need it frozen. I guess I was just hungry, and this does taste really good."

Zero...tattled on her? He snitched? What? And here Valaira could've sworn that they had synergy and symphonic rapport and that they could confide in each other. That they could share their most intimate feelings with one another and commune. But Zero narced on her. And Valaira doesn't find that cool.

Valaira's nine tails droop within the minute and her emerald eyes nervously shift from left to right. Her wings stretch then fold as she speaks. She's petrified by the prospect of confessing any guilt to a staff member and being penalized for it.

"I-I don't..."
"They aren't..."
"The blood isn't all human! I purchased most of it legally! I have receipts. And the rest of it was blood that people weren't using! Please don't go in there all by yourself!"

Basically, I am only a soul. Because of this, I can manipulate and read soul energy. Right now, I'm reading your soul to see if that's where the problem is."

Kate looks up at Eric, as she was about to get her laptop out. She's in her half dragon form, having not changed back after fixing Julie. "Hi Eric."

"Sorry, I was referring to Julie and Kate. The children are asleep, as far as I can tell. Hello, Kate, are you done?"

"Yeah. Julie needs to rest a bit"

"So, Kate, what's with the dragon-ness anyways?" Eric asks, leaning up against the doorway. It may not particularly surprise him, but in the end he wants to know how it happened this time.

Gate-Leading into Camp

A man tries to walk through the gate, looking very confused and rather lost. He wears a long black coat that swirls at his ankles, a black vest, and a white collar, showing that he is a priest. He's wearing black slacks, white socks, and sleek black boots. He carries a chrome and black suitcase. He also wears a big, long, black hat. He has little silver spectacles and a small grey goatee. He's wearing a necklace with the holy cross of Pelor. His face is gaunt, and long, but not skeletal. He's tall and thin. His grey hair is pulled back, and his blue eyes sparkle with intensity. He has black leather gloves, with crosses on the palms. He seems to be lost. He definitely emits an aura of light though. This guy was some badass priest. He has a scar on his forehead though, like someone hit him with a brick. Hello? Is anyone here?

"Apparently, getting changed so much caused a spirit thing, called a Kami, that emerged in the middle of the night and changed me. And Sophie... do you know anything about Grigs?"

Kate gets up and walks toward the doorway.

Eric's eyebrows raise, "Sophie's a grig now? I figured you were the only one that would get affected by the transformation."

Oddball turns to Jamie and frowns when he notices she's asleep. "Oddish!" he cries, and if that fails to rouse her, he'll kick her in the ear. There's a strange skitty or delcatty or something, and it's shiny! Oddball doesn't know what to do.

"Nope, the Kami got Sophie too. She is ticked about it... there are a lot of things about human life that she considers silly, and now she has to deal with them." Kate shrugs. "On the up note, I blasted the Kami. Do you know anything about Kami, like how to get rid of them?"

Jasmine will look down at the cat, and then reach over to pet it.

Also, take some genetic samples. The cat will only feel a few pinpricks if it works.

Zero moves to try to calm Valaria down a bit.

The reason why I said something is because whenever a member isn't in the room, someone goes in there to clean it. I know you didn't mean any harm with them but what will one of those poor cleaners think when the room is covered in runes written in blood? If we say something instead of them, you won't get in trouble.

Then he sends her a more private thought to add to what he said.

If they want to get you in trouble, they'll have to go through me.

"OK, Tito. I'll see you later, I hope." Natalie smiles and waves as Tito runs off. She's a bit jealous; her mother died a long time ago, and her father's a very busy man. She spends lots of time alone, or with servants. It's why she visits so often. "So, what are you most interested in? There's cabins where the redeemers and redeemees stay, the infirmary, Main Cabin which has the kitchen and most of the indoor social area, the lake with its giant slide and an island in the middle I haven't visited yet and the forest with the Wolfen huts. Oh, and there's Mushroom, a cellar for my friend Brinika when she stays here with her aunt. Probably other stuff I don't know about yet, too, but that's the fun of a tour, isn't it? I think you know the Main Cabin; you've just left it."

"I'm sorry. I'm sure you'll see your friend again." Justin tries his best to lift her spirits. "And until then, you have caretaker to keep you company." The vault-boy reaches out his hand and tries to pet the floating drone.

"Suh long Tito. See yee later," Maggie says waving to the halfling.

"See you later, sport," Thel adds. "Any ol' thing you can come up with'd be fine, young lady. I'd fancy a stroll round the grounds and a good conversation m'self"
