Thanks for clarifying, Starbin. I am not familiar with the archetype.

I guess that means Grace misses.

I suspect Krog misses, too. He doesn't have the Precise Shot feat either, does he?

I only hope that the pugwampis lack that feat as well.

I suspect that next round Grace will drop her bow and switch to scimitar.

Actually, I think switching to scimitar is a good idea because if they keep trying to use missile weapons while Grace is near, they will provoke an Attack of Opportunity from her.

At least that is how I interpret the Combat rules.

Just need Dagda and Scrag to go, but Krog managed a hit. I'll also need to know the reflex save of DM's astral construct?

    @shugyosha
Do you want to be standing to the right of Grace or behind her? Regardless, you have two hits.

    @Frivolous
    Yes, they would provoke AoO's

Yeah right next to Grace. I figured her actions might get her in trouble, but she's supposed to be an inexperience but enthusiastic adventurer. Hopefully she'll survive this...

They're frustrating, I know. I've weakened them quite a bit from the written as they were just too difficult to kill for such a low CR.

So we're fighting nerfed pugwampis? Wow. That's kind of depressing.

But I suppose it would be even worse if we got our rears kicked.

I doubt it. They are like summons. Once in play, they are no longer spells, but sentient creatures. Well, functional at least. Your performance will effect the Dagda Mor's Crystal shard power though.

Yeah, originally pugwampi have DR, SR, and the unluck aura. The first time I ran the fight in the cactus patch it took about an hour. And that was one pugwampi. So yeah, lots of trimming down.

I'll update the IC for next round once we have Scrag's action. Keep in mind what you'd like to do until then.

In addition, everyone outside the room doesn't suffer from the unluck aura, so no need to roll twice.

By the sounds of it they are all defense no offense. The monk could take a cue from them. I should make a pugwampi monk now.

The unluck aura is mind affecting. Animals and vermin are unaffected. Would an astra construct be unaffected as well?

I dunno honestly. It looks like it could be read that way but the astral construct doesn't appear to have blanket immunity to mind effecting as a whole but to specific forms

It looks like astral constructs are immune to mind-affecting effects for the most part, but the unluck aura can only be resisted by animals, other gremlins, or gnolls.

    Pugwampi attacks for this round

    Pugwampi 1 attacking the Vikcara
    Attack
    (1d20+3)[18]
    Damage
    (1d2-4)[-2]

Pugwampi 2 has a javelin through its chest

Pugwampi 3 trying to take a shot at Vikcara
    Attack
    (1d20+3)[4]
    Damage
    (1d2-4)[-2]

So Vikcara takes one damage from the arrow and another one damage from getting stabbed in the ankle by glass.

Not sure what the ruling is. Do you mean:
Unluck is mind-affecting effect that does not work on animals, gremlins, or gnolls. And by virtue of of being immune to mind-affection effects neither ar astral constructs.

    or

Unluck is mind-affecting effect that does not work on animals, gremlins, or gnolls. But works on astral constructs despite their immunity.

    Or

Unluck is not a mind-affection effect that does not work on animals, gremlins, or gnolls. So immunity to mind-affecting effects does nothing for the astral construct.

I'll need a know:nature check to find out exactly how the unluck aura functions, but it doesn't reach beyond the room the pugwampi are occupying right now.

Also, Scrag and Dagda can hear noises from the hallway to the right. They sound like they're getting closer.
