Re: Careless Village WW
There were two deaths the night preceding the first night without kills. It is possible that either a vigilante type role hit a correct target or one of those two was a town-aligned beast. This does make it somewhat less likely of an option though.
[I wasn't alive, so I wasn't paying attention]
Another possibility we haven't explored is that the wolf in charge of the kill is (whether intentionally or not) targeting wolves. The BareFoot Programmer

Funny you should both say that .__. because this:

Feeling slightly powered, use powers to reveal Tom the Mime is *Wolf Baner*
TBF, why do you say I'll be foolproof today? Is it confirmed to say that my scries will be accurate every other day or so? And how would a 'Wolf Baner' even work because I'm interpreting that as 'a baner aligned with the wolves'...Last edited by Caprice; 2012-11-27 at 04:40 PM.

Presumably, that would be his power.
And yes, that's what Tom the Mime would be.Last edited by Lady Serpentine; 2012-11-27 at 04:45 PM.

Re: Careless Village WW
Did you get a role as well as an alignment with previous scries? From your previous reveals, I'm guessing not and I think that's how your scry was boosted rather than the alignment part being foolproof which I know that it wasn't. That would make more sense than a wolf baner existing in a blind, no pm game where you'd likely save more villagers than wolves and the role wouldn't even give you cover to hide behind like a scry for the devil (which admittedly didn't help them much). I'll hold off on a vote/further defence until I've got a answer to the question.

Re: Careless Village WW
Because I read my role wrong. I thought that you getting both results was only supposed to happen if you were already accurate. On rereading, it doesn't actually specify.
Unfortunately, I can't target you again for a while.
If that scry were correct, I'd expect a careless day baner (can't bane self, protects night target from being lynched the next day). However, being as you got the double-scry, you didn't get the fool-proof.
That said, C'nor, you were awfully quick to jump on such a weird scenario. Care to spell out your reasoning? The BareFoot Programmer

Re: Careless Village WW
Except for the fact that TBF, who boosted the scry, came out and said he had misunderstood his ability and the boost only added the role scry and didn't make the fool alignment scry foolproof. I think you're less likely to be a wolf than others though so I'll pressure

Re: Careless Village WW
Hmm... Kalrany seems to be the most suspicious to me, but as it is there's a good chance of her being auto-lynched anyway. We might want to lynch her if only to learn role & alignment, but that seems to be of dubious benefit right now. I'd say that Tom the Mime is the best to lynch now, if only to test Caprice's scrying abilities.

Re: Careless Village WW
Tom the Mime, I find your claims hard to accept as worth more than re-testing our seer to see how her stuff is working now.

Re: Careless Village WW
I don't see how it's really retesting the seer (actually fool) given that the alignment doesn't seem to be revealed on lynch, only their role name and wouldn't be any give anything more conclusive than Matthias's lynch yesterday. Planswalker, as for how Caprice's stuff is working now, TBF said it was a one time boost and he couldn't do it again anytime soon.
That said, with the number of votes on me, it's time to name my claim. I'm a village baner, can't bane the same target twice in a row (including myself) and I die if I bane a non-village night killer. Lex-kat and Caprice are cleared from having the wolf kill right now (as was Eternis before he died) - protected Lex-kat early on on a hunch and Caprice given the whole seer claim.
If I give my role name, Penguinator might be able to clear me (or at least my role) but I didn't want to just say that without the rest given the way he'd know is a bit meta-gamey. That gives away my moniker in the narrations to anyone paying attention too. Given some of comments he made regarding baners makes me think he knew one was around, was trying to make wolves think otherwise until it was obvious one was about. Either I (and any other baners) have been doing a good job recently or the wolves just keep hitting other wolves.Being a mime means never having to say you're sorry.

12 hours or so remaining. Not updating votes. 4 min to lynch
Kalrany needs to vote badly.
Grue Bait and usourselves&we should also vote, tomorrow if not today.
TigerFang and Caprice aren't in much danger yet from AL.

Re: Careless Village WW
What exactly is the logic behind voting to lynch the person who's about to be auto-lynched?

Re: Careless Village WW
Day 17
Day dawns on indecisive village. Mob argues back and forth. Which newcomer should leave? Can Network be trusted or are they infiltrated as well? Maybe they're just Fools or clueless. Arguing back and forth and finally decision is made. To not make one yet and let things pan out. But there's more to this story yet to be told.
Candidate sits in Mayor's office, reading papers as usual. Suddenly startled by flash of blue and puff of smoke. Coughing, man emerges from smoke. Mayre no more, Aubrey Lindon stands there alive again. "I say. It would appear someone took my position while I was gone. I'd appreciate it it... Oh, it's you. I should have expected. Get out of here. Now." Tone of voice changed and Candidate flees, only remnant of position papers in pocket. Mayor straightens up and then leaves, locking door behind him.
Daring packs up, funeral of her sister done. Unsure if it's best to remain, she finishes business and leaves town through gate, passing two newcomers entering. We pan above to top of gate where Storyteller still sits playing lyre.
Mayor (Aubrey) ascends stairs to meet Gatekeeper, or his ghost. "Ah, you're back. You have a guest, as expected. He's at the top, playing his harp thing." "Oh, is that so? Have the others arrived yet? I hadn't realized things had gone so slowly." "No, your math-loving friend came too, but he's unpredictable one. Can't say when rest will arrive, but I'll be keeping watch here at the gate." Mayor nods and returns to office.
Mathematician plays with abacus, pushing beads back and forth. "Everywhere! They're everywhere! How can it be? The darkness, no, it's gaining! One hundred, 100, they're everywhere! They're all evil!!!" Elsewhere Twins keep up search. "Have you seen- No, I've talked to you before." And Lurker watches from alleyway.
Day ends and night falls on Careless Village once more with Mayor.
SpoilerKalrany, Daring was AL'd (left town). She was Newcomer #22 and is not revealed.
