Frankly, I think black and white or flat shading can be nice, and over doing it can make the visuals hard to read.

Hey, thanks for that link. It was this I was referring to earlier.

Also, she did comment to herself once (I don't feel like searching for the link, but it was back when she first met the guy who teaches religion to robots) that she could drive herself to attack anyone by rationalizing that her target is breathing oxygen needed by other humans, and therefore endangers them, overriding the safeguards not to attack a human.

Also, I guess that this strip which sparked the discussion in the first place was a callback to this one.

What I meant is that I foresee Edge doing incredibly stupid things that might result in the lobotomization of all the robots. What I expect to happen is that he is the only robot lobotomized.

Which she achieved (at least insofar as it was spaceworthy), and along the way met a good human friend (Naomi), a chaste love interest (Winston), and several robotic friends (Qwerty, Dvorak, and Sawtooth, among others). Of course, the real proof against instant karma is that she is tasked with taking out Gardener in the Dark, a monumental task if there ever was one.

Well, she has decided, rightly in my opinion, that the robots are people. A tackle and snarl is getting off lightly.

The mayor, at least, can make a rational, if anthropocentric, argument in favour of deciding not to act. It's the almost ridiculously egocentric and corrupt Mr. Kornada I worry about.
