The two didn't appear to be saying anything, or if they were, it was through telepathy. Smoothie was humming something, and the foal started looking a lot calmer. Heart might have noticed the foal "Say" something depending on how good she was at lip-reading.

Heartflight frowned, unable to make out what was wrong. She supposed it didn't matter, but she still wished she knew so she could help. But maybe that would only cause problems in any case.
