Re: The Invasion of Toril
"So, she is our enemy. Get what we can form her, and she should stay somewhere that she cannot cause harm."
It'd be easier to just kill her...Too bad she isn't overtly evil.....maybe ask Krgg.....I bet he'd do it...that may cross some lines...but its for th greater good...may be worth it.....damned moral compass...
Zaavariel keeps out of the interrogation, having simple and decisive responses for enemies.Last edited by Zman; 2012-10-17 at 02:43 PM.

Re: The Invasion of Toril
@Garrin
"She describes Clover as a creature, outfitted in golden armor over an onyx-colored body, is humanoid in shape but much larger than a human and seems to be made of mechanical parts. He carries no weapons or other equipment.
As for the High Druids, they are definitely still around. However, they relocated to Misty Forest outside of Daggerford, which is south-east of Waterdeep, along the Old Trade Way."
@Gale
Spoiler
You know based on what Tessa is describing that Clover is likely a Marut. Which you know is an extraplanar lawful construct, with some ability to cast a few spells and an affinity to fight with its fists.
Tessa then shouts out, "Edgar, dismiss that spell," then she looks back at Tulip and makes her summon her familiar. A vivacious flying cat appears in Tulip's lap.

Re: The Invasion of Toril
"Tessa, would you please ask her to get her familiar to drop the items it is holding for her?"

Re: The Invasion of Toril
To Tessa: "Good." Relief visible on his face... at least until he, again, hides emotions under his mask of constant boredom.
To Gale: "Construct? I am not good at fighting these...
Ehh we will see, I guess."
To All: "I have a proposition. After we finish our business in this city we could try find the druids. They might help us... and they may know more about Hexen as they were chased away by it..."
[thoughts] And they did help me before... would be nice to repay the favor...Last edited by Lexin; 2012-10-17 at 03:03 PM.

Re: The Invasion of Toril
The cat drops 7 pieces of clothing to the ground, a silky red veil laced with garnets, an orange silk veil, a green reticulation covers a third veil, and emerald serpent heads weight the corners. Waves of aquamarine and turquoise ripple in the gauzy fabric of another finely crafted veil, dark purple like a day-old bruise, the fifth veil is far heavier than any gauze of silk should be. A tapestry-like veil that is the color of a pastoral sunrise, and a thin mesh veil that is scarcely more than a cloud of indigo mist.

Re: The Invasion of Toril
Gale gathers up the dropped equipment, placing it into her pack for later identification.
"Assuming no one has any more questions, who wants to kill her? Leaving her alive is an unacceptable risk. I am not so sure about finding the druids. I am far from confident in our ability to find them, and even if we can find them, we will probably learn nothing useful, as they ran away. I think it is a waste of time to try."Last edited by Archmage1; 2012-10-17 at 03:22 PM.

Re: The Invasion of Toril
To Gale: "Any reason to take into account what she wants? "
To Tessa: "Do you have any use of her? If not, we can get rid of her." He says with a shrug.
About Druids: "Maybe they won't help us in the fight... but they may be thankful for getting rid of planars from their homes... And thankful people wielding the magic of nature could give us some magic items... or at least a bag full of healing potions. It is not something to ignore in these times..."

Re: The Invasion of Toril
Tessa responds, "Oh, I will definitely keep her. She will not get away with impersonating a member of The Ash with punishment as light as death.
And I am quite curious as to how her father is a planar and she is a human, so I will interrogate her some more later."Intelligent doors FTW

Re: The Invasion of Toril
Zaavariel looks at the girl, "Krgg, you can kill her, we need an expert. I hear many an Orcish battle tale stems from killing defenseless women and children."
His tone is joking, but with a sharp edge that rings a little too true for his own liking.Last edited by Zman; 2012-10-17 at 03:31 PM.

Re: The Invasion of Toril
"Garin, if we kill the hexen in the forest, we will likely earn their aid in any event, and I would be highly surprised if the druids aren't keeping an eye on things in their home. The issue here is time. It would take some time to go to the misty forest, and even longer to get to the high forest. Still, if time is not an issue, it might be an idea. Although, they will probably not approve of me, Noru, or Krgg. Tessa, I think that it is up to you to determine her fate, if you wish to keep her."

Re: The Invasion of Toril
Garrin shrugs "I don't think they would be that picky in their situation. I would just prefer to meet them before we leave the Waterdeep to save some other part of the world. You don't have to come with me if you don't want to."

"Speaking of which, I imagine I could make fair use of those seven pieces of cloth, I'm not an expert on their function however so the talents of our usual identifiers would be helpful in this case..."
