The Invasion of Toril

Tessa says to the party before they leave, "I will probably stay here at least for tonight, so if you want you can crash here later, or have any more questions for Tulip or me you can come back. There are plenty of beds downstairs."

The party then heads to the shop, which is the building right in front of the tavern, however the doors are on south side of the building, facing away from the shop.

Gale pushes the door open, revealing a male Drow sitting behind a counter. The rest of the party follows her into the shop. There aren't any items displayed in the shop. The Drow gets up from his seat, and stands behind the counter, with his hands on it as well. With a high pitched and screechy voice he says, "Hello there, interested in buying anything? It is not every day that I get natives in here, but a customer is a customer."

"Greetings, trader. We have a large bounty, recently collected, that we would like to exchange for something that suits our needs better." Bleerie places on the counter every unwanted object. "What are your, let's say, most interesting items on sale for adventurers?"

Bleerie will ask him about all the items I mentioned before on the shopping list. She will also inquire about how to combine magic items, how long it will take etc.

The drow replies, "An exchange huh, well what would you like? And I'll tell you if I have it in stock. As for combining items, I would have to send the item away and you could come pick it back up in several days, depending on the request."

"Is there any chance I could get a replacement item in the meanwhile? It would certainly be good customer service!"

I don't want to have to stay without my vest of health for several days/forse the whole party to wait for my items.

"Well what item do you want to be modified? As it would depend on the items nature."

"Do you happen to have any strength or agility enhancing baubles here?" Zaavariel chokes out, it's difficult to get past bred racial hatreds.

[Allyzedl]

"I have strength and dexterity boosting items for sale. Also, you can call me Jimbob, and this is my store: Jimbob's Emporium." Jimbob then puts his arms out as if to present his store to the others.

"I would like this vest to be modified to be a bit more sturdy, and this mantle to give me a screen against enemy spells."

Noru enters the shop while trying to don the newly acquired veils and muttering something about looking completely ridiculous. He pauses while tying the orange one about his waist.

"What was that Vincent?"

Noru wanders over to investigate the badge that's not being sold. He picks it up and holds it, turning it over in his hand.

"I don't perceive anything special about it you mad little bodiless dead man. "

"Ooh, sweet! So, I'll trade in my old shield and get this bigger one... and I'm going to get this wand and the belt, oh man, this rod is too good to pass! This other thing looks sweet as well..." Bleerie walks around the shop excitedly picking up stuff and scooping diamond dust in a small bag, after having weighted it. In the end, she returns to Jimbob all happy. "I'll buy all of these!"

so the Scepter, 8305, belt, 750, vest, 4000, and cloak of cha +4(trading in old one)(14k), so total of 27475, selling the boots, so hopefully enough.(actually end up at 27997 gold, so 522 gold left for items later. Like a vest of resistance...

Looking around the shop, Zaavariel finds some tight fitting leather armbands, a thick sturdy belt, and a second belt identical to the one that Gale just picked up.

Jimbob looks at the female gnome and the elf with a puzzled look on his face as they walk around the store looking at blank shelves.

He addresses the gnome, "What are you talking about? You don't have anything in your hands." Jimbob then points out that the gnome doesn't have anything in her hands.

@Gale
"Why I certainly do have those items, that will be 28 thousand gold pieces miss." He then ducks under the counter and comes back up with all of the items requested and sets them on the counter.

@Zaavariel
"Are you also crazy? You do know that there is nothing on the shelves right?" Jimbob then points to the empty shelves.

Noru stares suspiciously at this strange drow beneath his veils. He deigns to concentrate on his bird, having it circle outside and get a good view of their surroundings.

"That is a quite bit more that the cost of the items I requested. Throw in a Sunrod, and drop the price to 27475, the actual price of the goods, and we have a deal"

Gale pulls out her money, clearly ready to buy.

"I will take out your costs from the money from the gems. That leaves you with 43652. I can also sell you a replacement cloak, and buy it back later for its selling price."

Gale also puts on her new items, awkwardly replacing her flail with the mace, and swirling off her old cloak in exchange for the new. After placing the new cloak on, she looks more radiant than ever before. She also replaces her old belt with the new one, just dropping it on the ground, where it vanishes to the place where worthless items go.

"I hope we can get a good deal on the magical items we are selling."

Gale smiles at the storekeeper.

Krgg eyes the dark elf, and his brow becomes a mass of crinkles for quite a few minutes, as if he's trying to make an important or difficult decision.

He beckons Jimbob over to the side, wishing to whisper a quiet conversation with him.

Ok, here's the thing...I saw a spell evaporate a little pinky-finger-kobold that was following us around. It was like a sheet of rainbows...I want my blade to have a power like that. But you better understand, this blade is dearly precious to me, and if anything were to happen to it.... he lets the last part linger in the air between his lips and the dark elf's ears. Foebane here is my only companion, if you catch my drift...Gruumsh would never forgive me if I let myself remain unarmed. I either want the job rushed, or I want something to fill this scabard 'til it's done, yeah?
