Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
I believe King Radical mentioned that Herschel was the worst of a bad lot, so it makes sense.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
I sense.....a heel face turn.
Radical will realise that.....He has friends here. He LIKES it here. And though maybe it lacks Helicopter head ents, it taught him moderation of rad. It taught him that value of Rad.
And realise that whilst all this time he was dreaming of the people home, he realised that he didn't have much in common with them.
And then the fight becomes a VS against Docs wizard.

SpoilerYour senses went astray. I was kind of hoping to see Dame Dudeical, but this person is positively wicked as well.In a war it doesn't matter who's right, only who's left.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
SpoilerDoes Steve's presence mean that the radicalness of the area has increased, making it more likely the portal will trigger again? In other words is this a positive feedback system?Last edited by Kornaki; 2013-09-20 at 10:41 AM.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
It's possible that the amount of Radical Energy needed to bring over each successive inhabitant of the Radical Land shrinks each time.
King Radical went to a lot of effort even before creating the giant Cumberland robot just to bring over Ron Wizard. (Cumberland was already a fairly Radical place, what with the skate parks, fireworks factories and mummy-punching.) While creating another giant robot piloted by the President is impressive, it doesn't quite stack up.
This could also correspond to the Radicalness of each Radical Land inhabitant, as well. After all, Ron Wizard was the second-most Radical person in that world; we can assume Steve was the third-most Radical. It stands to reason less energy would be needed to bring over a less radical being.Last edited by Giggling Ghast; 2013-09-20 at 04:14 PM.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
What if Radical's heel face turn is triggered by him almost being replaced by a Radicalland denizen? He's spent long enough in Doc's world that he might have become 'tainted' by the non-Rad-ness - he realizes that the Radical Lands are, in fact, too Radical for him to ever return or to properly rule them anymore.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Personally, I'm half expecting Ron to outright coup King Radical, on the basis that he's no longer the most radical man, due to that same exposure to the unradness of this world.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Why do people think we'll see a heel-face turn from Radical? He's a mass murdering psychopath. Of course, so is Doc...but that's different.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
It looks like she came through after all.. different color armor but I'm pretty sure that's her.
Two possible takeaways that I can see
1.) People don't come through in order of radicalness, although it would be unlikely we see Ron and the Dame in the first five people
or
2.) Steve moved up the ladder since the last time we saw King Radical's world, which let's keep in mind has been hundreds of years.
Also, it definitely appears to be the case that it's easier to bring over extra people now.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Pretty much. People want him to stay around, but after this arc where he's built up to such a huge BBEG, it's very unlikely that he'll be able to make a Franz Rayner-like return or stick around at all unless he switches sides in some fashion. Not just a 'why would Doc/The President let him stay if he was still evil', but in that for a Radical Man, he has reached the pinnacle of Evil Rad here, and the only way to go is down.

Well, not only that, but he's already said he's ending the comic in the next year or so. I wouldn't be surprised if this were the final arc.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Hmm. Is this fellow (presumably a terrible fellow indeed) deciding to learn how to skateboard as a manifestation of whatever Radical Person is about to explode out of him, or is it a last-ditch attempt at self-preservation?
I kinda hope it's the latter.

From Hastings himself. I know it's a while away, but his arcs have been draaaaaaaaggggging lately, so I don't think it's that unlikely.Last edited by Anteros; 2013-09-26 at 08:48 PM.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
We still need to see Rayner return. It's been foreshadowed and it'd been so long. It's the only other loose end there is.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Dr. McNinja is ending soon, eh? That's sad, that's sad. I feel like we hardly knew the good doctor.
Rayner is probably going to be the final boss of Dr. McNinja, should final boss be a thing that happens. He's existed for longer than Radical, and Radical's big evil plan is in motion right now. Rayner has time to do something crazy.

I don't think we should put the clock on just yet for the end. Things could come that make the series go on longer. Whose to say? We'll know when we get there.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
I'm just curious. Is there anyone out there that actually doesn't believe that Old is going to end up teaming up with Doc? Cause it seems very obvious to me.
