Me and Latalla have a.... complicated relationship. I enable her, I know, but she is awfully willful.

But if her reading OOC stuff bothers people, I can have her reign that in and only do it with people who are okay with it.

I would like to point out that she is almost entirely a gag character and has only ever done that stuff for the sake of a joke. She would never, say, ruin a plot point or reveal somebody's secrets or even use it to her advantage in any way.

It's more of a character breaking the 4th wall and interacting (passively) with the audience/writers. I've done such a thing before (like here, for a joke), and the idea doesn't seem bad as long as the other players allow it.

No, she's still a character, Zefir. A character is someone a player controls. And since her player is letting her in on OOC stuff, an having her act on it, she's a character.

Hey I have this idea for a thing. What kind of thing? Not a plot because I stink at running those. More of a location. A Home for homeless younglings, especially those with powers. Angie has been working on improving a neighborhood in the red zone, and with her own experience being homeless and with a power you can barely control, she wants to help those in a similar situation.

Like I said I wouldn't be running it as a plot. More of a place to throw characters together. Each person can have a plot, or people can throw plots at the Home. People could play kids living there, or even the adults who care for them.

Anyone think they would be interested?

Personally, though, I keep it consistent within each post, but I don't really worry about it beyond that.

I feel it fits better with FFRP. Reading past tense often feels like reading about something that already happened, while present tense gives the impression of events occurring as you read them, which fits FFRP rather well I think.

Where should I start? Long answer, you can start in any thread that isn't a private thread or a plot thread. Short answer, Trog's if you want a chaotic introduction with the possibility of brawls or random encounters. Mallside if you want a peaceful place to interact.
