I would have done so, but his head was so tiny and far away that I could not reach it without him fleeing me. I was also surrounded by younger cousins, ranging from 5 to 11 in age, who had terrified the poor little fellow. He clung to my boots for safety.

Three of us even showed up in thematically appropriate attire.

This, by the way, is why you go through your closet every once in a while to make sure you didn't accidentally end up with one of your brother's shirts. Though, oddly enough, it says it's a 17 1/2, which is about right in the shoulders, but it seems to assume I've got an extra 50-100 pounds in the midriff, so when it's not tucked in it's like I'm wearing a short artist's smock.

Eventually it got so hot that I had to unbutton my shirt and reveal my true form. Also I managed to get that frosting all over my face but was (mercifully?) spared from any photos of that monstrosity.
