It's a Dolly Partin movie, so be careful. It's where the song "And I Will Always Love You" comes from.

Also, I will submit this for evidence, to further entice you to watch it (if the above has turned you off).

Until you realise it's weak to about almost everything (in terms of common damage, since it IS resistant to 12 types out of 17). Oh, and it dies to any status effect.

Except in double combat where using Soak on it makes it very near invulnerable (except to status effects.)

Ooh, I had a fun pokemon idea - an Eevee-like family, where it evolves by being levelled up with different status effects. Each persistent status effect results in a different pokemon, based around that effect.

Not sure how you're do a sleep-focused one any different than Darkrai, though.

Clearly the answer is simple. You don't. Make this theoretical pokemon a prevolution to Darkrai. Infact, make it related to Cressilia too. If it reaches a certain level without leveling up with a status effect on, it becomes Cressilia, but a status effect turns it into a warped beast of that element.

Well, the eevevolutions partially are themed like status effects.
Poisoned, Frozen, Burnt, Confused, Asleep, Paralysed.
Vaporeon, Glaceon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Jolteon.

You could make it so being asleep makes it more effective? The inverse of Darkrai putting to sleep, this is a pokemon you want yours to be put to sleep.

Well, I think it does on GPX-Plus. Were you thinking of that?

And I say the most convoluted evolution is Mantyke->Mantine. I mean, yes, Mantine has a Remoraid in its finarmpit in some appearances, but the Remoraid you have to use doesn't go away, and why not just display Mantine as not having a Remoraid?

They had a couple of okay songs for when I was a young boy and wanted energy without having to think about what was the content of the song, but I couldn't stand their stage presence and how they actually carried on like they were more immature than I was when I was twelve.

I was mostly kind of confused why grown men were acting like that, honestly.

Thanks! I gather that I'm pretty good at spoken English as well, but I do have an accent you'd probably notice quite immediately would you ever hear me speak. It's a bit hard to avoid as a Swede...

Also, "catastrophy" is an error I do sometimes, but I usually know better.

Also, I noticed that I'd written "consciousness" when I meant "subconscious". And this isn't even close to the worst miswriting I've done this week. Sometimes, I just manage to write something completely different to what I was thinking...

Yeah, I make this mistake all the time. It's silly, seeing how I know quite a lot about the Lend-Lease Act, but I always forget that "lend" exists as a word...
