And yeah, I've noticed that the guns that consume multiple ammo per shot tend to be sniper rifles (Maliwan is a particularly egregious offender in this regard). I suspect that this is the reason the sniper character is also the melee specialist - you still have your sword for the half of the game that you have no ammo for your SR.
No, I've had guns which say "consumes three rounds per shot" and fires three rounds as a single package, not a one-two-three burst. Even when it doesn't have that little "x2" or whatnot near the damage like on a shotgun.

My first character was a sniper Zer0. By the time I found a Dahl sniper rifle, I was one-shotting bad guys with my Maliwan. The Dahl one-shot my target and then pumped two more rounds into its corpse. I hate Dahl sniper rifles because they waste two-thirds of my sniper ammo.

Yes, that's what "consumes three rounds per shot" means. You squeeze the trigger once, it fires a single shot, but your ammo ticks down by 3. It is still a single bullet hitting (or not) your target. If you had a Dahl with that flag, it would fire three times, each one eating 3 rounds, for a ridiculous ammo consumption rate of 9 rounds per trigger squeeze.

Okay, to be absolutely sure, since they don't list exactly what's in it on Steam...

    The Season Pass includes:

    Ultimate Upgrade Pack
    Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt
    Torgue's Campain of Carnage
    Captain Scarlett

But NOT the Creature Dome Arena fight thingy, the Collector's Edition Upgrade or any skins or characters, right?

No, that's not what it is. It's three bullets coming out simultaneously rather than one after another, leaving three bullet holes, etc. I was trying to differentiate it from three round burst to avoid this very gramatical issue.

One bullet spreads into three shots, like the Redundant Fibber, if I'm not mistaken. "Cost" of one, "payout" of three. 1 into 3, not 3 into 1.

The Season Pass also includes the upcoming DLC4, "Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep" (or, "what the BL1 Hunters were doing during DLC 1-3 (namely, playing Bunkers & Badasses)"). But no, no skins or characters.

It's also ruddy annoying. I hate critically timed busywork like switching out your gun halfway through killing someone in order to down them 0.3 seconds faster--it's just not fun for me. I don't like switching skills mid-combat in an action RPG, either!

It makes the Berserker's gun swap skills better though.

I'm not sure if it carried over to 2, but in 1 projectile speed was a function of scope magnification.

Rocket launchers with Maliwan parts and/or the correct accessory will have increased projectile speed.

How do you know if you have the projectile speed up accessory? It will confer one of five titles to the launcher, depending on the manufacturer.

How do you know if your launcher has Maliwan parts? Visual identification or a save editor.

Looking at the visual identifier confirmed what I discovered in practice: I have found a Torgue rifle with a Vladof barrel on my Axton playthrough. It almost makes me want to invest in Gunpowder Skill tree and some more Torgue guns.

The healing chain with the siren is great fun when one of your earliest loot drops is the Patriot's Infinity. I don't think I've actually contributed to the party via killing things since I got it... Especially not since I keep cycling through ever changing, slightly better sniper rifles – which usually fire slower than Krieg throws his buzz axe.

You contribute to that group in a far better way then killing things SiuS! You enable the killing of things by keeping your pet Psycho alive and healthy! ...Well...physically healthy anyway, the mentally healthy ship sailed a long time ago.

Less sailed, more got locked in the broom closet thirty years ago and now whispers weird Hannibal Lector-style wisdom through the keyhole.

So a question; am I expected to actually cycle through weapons for different element types and ammo types? That would be sucks. Not that sniping is working Out so hot, since my rifles are currently too inaccurate >_<

Not necessarily elements, but in Normal and TVHM, it's generally expected that you'll equip a weapon of each type to make up for low ammo capacity. Once you hit UVHM, however, Slag gets a massive buff, elemental rock-paper-scissors is in full effect, and weapon swap speed is nearly doubled.

In short, Normal and TVHM? Sort of. UVHM? Absolutely.

Hey guys, what skills would you people recommend to me, a Zer0 player who is mostly undecided if he wants to focus on gunning people down from far away, or stabbing and slashing people with his bayoneted Jacobs pistol. So far I've put points into Cunning, which seems to be the middle path between two extremes.
Related, what other equipment should I focus on? The class mods I've seen that fit me most is the Spy, Stalker, and Survivor.

Cunning has what, like two melee skills in it? It's very much the "shoot things at close-to-medium range" tree. Unless that's what you mean.

I was recently gifted Borderlands 2 when it was on sale (It also happened to be my birthday) So far, I've only been able to run my Commando solo, but I've gotten him up to level 17 via gratuitous sidequesting (I'm finishing up with Tiny Tina, which my journal tells me is a level 14 quest.)

Currently, I'm traipsing almost entirely down the Gunpowder tree, and I seem to have an affinity fr Torgue Assault Rifles, especially those with Vladof barrels.
Any suggestions? Anybody want to sho me how the gae is supposed to be plaed in MP and throughly humble me? Is a Military Pointman class mod a thing, because that would be *awesome* (<3 mah health regen), I also have one point in the kill which gives health regen at full shields, just because I never seem to find health pickups.

Pointman mods only boost Survival skills. The three prefixes it can carry are Grisly, Juiced, and Unstoppable.

Don't think so, but would you like a level 27 Legendary Soldier mod? I have a level 50 version, so I don't need it anymore.

Side note: I've found 3 Legendary Soldier mods so far, but I'm starting to believe that legendary mods for the other characters are fictional.

The Legendary <class> mods are rare drops from Vermivorous the Invincible. You'll have to farm him a lot (and just getting him to spawn in the first place is hard) to have more than a miniscule chance of getting one.

Loot Midgets can also drop them; I've been farming for Jimmy Jenkins kills recently, and so far I've gotten two Mechromancers, two Soldiers, a Berserker, and a Hunter among a whole bunch of other oranges.
