Middle of chapter three. Don't get me wrong; it's absolutely brilliant, and a very well written fic. It's just that she's so darn happy and optimistic and clueless that it makes me want to cry.

I'd heard of it and put it on the "to-read" list, even taken a look at the Tvtropes page. But, when the Fragments fic had it there, I had to read it in order to get the context.

Does anypony know where I can get a pony-shaped lapel pin, preferably not colored in any way? Yeah the computers almost surely played a big part there. I also think people default to the phonetic spelling, and McIntosh doesn't have an A in it anywhere, so how could it possibly be the right spelling? /sarcasm.


Oh, I have a random pony question. If you could introduce one magic spell into the show, what would it be? It doesn't have to be cast by Twilight, and it could involve a new character with a special talent just for that spell if you want.

My idea would be a recording spell. I think it would make for an interesting episode if Twilight gained the ability to have ponies take messages and even magical video for her while she was absent, but as a result it would start building up more and more and she would over-commit herself, leading to a big mess near the end. She would end up having her friends help her sort it all out, and learn a lesson about trying to do too many things at once and being unfocused.
