Sakura considers for a moment. So they're pretty much just regular rabbits. She might have to put a bit more thought into this since they're so badly camouflaged. "I can probably do that. Couple more questions. Is there any reason they should have trouble living outside? And do they have names?"

Living outside should be fine for them. As for names, name them what you want. It's best if you don't know their old names, if they hear them they have a chance of regaining old memories. Most of the time the memories only last for a bit, but sometimes it's permanent. Then they might end up like Nil here who remembers close to everything going back three of her past lives. the owl hoots happily and nuzzles Morsvita some more.

He's not particularly happy about what Waldorf just implied. Obviously, this predicament came with a lot of power, but power at a price always feels constraining.

"Oh blood! Yes, we have quite a lot of blood. Yesterday, a mermaid came in to donate. At least she said she was a mermaid. She had feet though and not a fish tail. Very strange girl - she was wearing wellies, which slowly filled up with blood as she walked. We had to discard the blood that had already accumulated, because it wouldn't be sanitary, but once Heidi cleaned her feet, she just bled and bled. It was some sort of curse, she said. So we do have mermaid blood at an excellent price, though I can't say much for the taste. Something missing, I believe. It's sweet, but a bit soul-less. But then, I'm old fashioned. I prefer Heidi's blood to almost anyone else's. Have you tried dwarf blood? Quite stout and filling. Goblin blood I can't say that I care for. The flavour is a bit too rich for me...."

Aunt Riley knows a lot about blood. Totally-Not-Reinholdt should probably browse the bottles while she babbles.

"Since sometime this morning I guess. Nothing seemed too bad when I left for work. Things have been a bit restless in the city for the last week, though. It was all over the news." Dana replies.

"I didn't follow the news. It never felt relevant to me. I feel kind of silly now, but... I wasn't expecting anything to happen to me." A classic case. One ignores something, assuming it would never apply to them. It really shouldn't, they're somewhere else, connected to other people, so on and so forth. Then it turns up on their metaphorical doorstep and they have no idea what to do with it.

"I'm sure they'll get it all sorted out soon." Dana says reassuringly. She sure hopes they do at least. Lily may be here safe with her, but there's still all the other kids at the orphanage.

"Actually just... smurf blood. Do you have any of that?" Reinholdt asks, looking at the bottles at the same time for vials of blue.

"Oh dear no, I'm afraid not. Smurf blood is so hard to keep in stock - just like all of the small races. They simply can't donate enough. There's some Navi blood though, if you want something else that's blue. Or we have some Vulcan blood that's green, but the taste is really quite coppery. I don't know why. We have a few connoisseurs who prefer it to red blood though...."

... sadly, they're Navi blood and not smurf.

Reinholdt almost immediately starts reaching for the Navi blood until he's told otherwise.

"None? Not at all? Not even in the back? Could you check the back for some?" Reinholdt asks, stepping closer to Riley.

Honestly, Reinholdt that's a horrible question to ask in retail. If they had it in the back, they'd have put it out there.

"I'm afraid not, dear. The extra stock in the back is all for the donation side. Extra syringes and bags and cotton balls. All the blood we have is here in the refrigerated section. Except for the blood that hasn't been processed into bottles yet, but that would only be the blood donated in the last few hours, and I'm sure we didn't have any smurfs in today. We had an imp who just left a few minutes ago. Would you like some imp blood?"

"When's the next time they said they'd be donating? Or maybe we could go to their town and have them donate some now. Yes... we should do that."

Aunt Riley smiles as if she isn't being berated by an angry customer. "No, we only make calls for very large creatures that can't fit inside the Mall. And of course there's a surcharge for that, which is taken off of the amount we pay for the donation. I'm not sure I know where Smurf Village is. I remember Gymrat Smurf saying that there was a ring of mushrooms, and he came in flying on a seagull. Or was it a crane? I can't remember exactly..."

"I think he said it was located in 'Le Pays Maudit'," Heidi says, stepping in and interrupting before Aunt Riley can start rambling again. "That's all the information we have. Unless you want to purchase something, I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

Reinholdt frowns before pulling out some pen and paper and scribbling a number on it.

"Sorry. Should any smurfs come in, I'll pay you double the usual. Triple if I get here before the smurf leaves." Reinholdt says, handing Aunt Riley the note with his phone number on it before turning to leave.

"Oh certainly. I don't know how to use those phelotone things, but Heidi will show me. She's ever so clever, for a mortal. I might have to see about getting her turned one day, but then I wouldn't have her blood anymore, and it's so tasty..."

"Oh, I do wish I knew, because I'd love to duplicate it. Heidi is human, AB+, which is uncommon, but not rare. We generally always have some in stock, and it's what I drink when Heidi is anemic, but it just doesn't have the same flavour to it." Aunt Riley says.

"Huh..." The universal recipient having such a tasty donation is unusual.

"Well, have a good day." Reinholdt says, resuming his exit.
