((I'm just saying, I like Roleplaying in a place that's combat free because my PCs that usually come here usually can't take combat, or be good in combat))
Songdancer slink out of his hiding place and trots up to the stage. He's decided to try to cheer himself up by playing a song!
He had called his music buddies, who have set up on the stage already! Getting up on the stage, the music begins to play, and he begins to sing...

Shadow Fade will stand in his way stoping the unkown waiter from going on.

"Excuse me, but you can't just work as a waiter. Follow me and I bring you to the person in charg."

He mentions at Naku who, as far as I know is behind the bar.

"No...I'll just tough it out..." she said with a sigh.
She waits for Naku to gets back with the food.

Krystal sighs a little.

See, now I feel bad. Let me make it up to you somehow.

(Completely understandable. I also hate being dragged into something that I'm not prepared to do.)

Zenith, while waiting for the hot dog and soda, listens to the music. After the song, she claps because it's a really really neat song. She loved the rhyme, the rhythm, and the harmony. It was pretty good.


Meanwhile...

The false waiter has tried to continue his progress around the room. The music from Songdancer has impeded his progress; after all, it's hard to avoid suspicion when there's music distracting you. Well, it's actually easy, but then you can go too far being unsuspicious that you become suspicious again.

And now, this Shadow Fade has come up to him. He turns to face Shadow Fade, as he calculates his next moves. "Very well," he says. He glances at Zenith, before following Shadow Fade.

[Aric Kale]

Zane sits at a table shrouded in heavy darkness. He almost smiles at the absurdity of a violinist assassin. The mysterious man leans back in his chair with his cloak up as he watches the rival assassin, waiting to see how this plays out.

[Mindfreak]

Krystal sighs a little.

See, now I feel bad. Let me make it up to you somehow.

"It's not that big of a deal. I can take the bacon off of my burger and send either the burger or steak back if I don't like how it was cooked." 0-0

[Mee]

Naku sighs slightly, seeing Fade escorting someone to the bar.
"What?" She asks Fade, simply and as directly as she could.

[Zefir]

Fade is obviously not aware that Naku is annoyed.

"This man tried to be a waiter here and I know he isn't one. I thought he should talk to you since he wants to become a waiter."

It's only good that Naku doesn't know Fade. He knews that such an action is assassins work, but it's Naku's Inn.

[Aric Kale]

Zane checks to make sure no one is paying attention to him, assuming they aren't; his finger "spontaneously" combusts with a strange black flame. He uses this flame to light a candle. After this is done, the flame vanishes.

[Morcleon]

Into the Inn floats a young girl, a translucent ghost, with pale turquoise hair and a white gown. Strange light seem to flicker across her figure, giving her an even eerier look. She glances around, then floats over to the bar.

Completely oblivious to the growing situation, she pipes up in a soft, hesitant voice. "...d- do you have anything for... ah, s- someone like me...?" She gives a faint, hopeful smile, but then quickly mutters, "It's okay if you don't though... I was just wondering..."

Those familiar with the more shadowy side of the law recognize her as Cerise, aka Li'l Cherry, one of the more effective assassins out there. Anyone who's actually met her before will recognize her current state as just having finished a job. She's an odd little critter...

The real Fade will firstserve Zenith the hot dog and the soda. He should be lucky that Strahd is in the kitchen otherwise he would have a real hot dog in front of her.

He will then go back to the bar where'Cherry' is.

"We have all that's on the card if that is what you mean."

[Morcleon]

"Ah, I mean, um, something that won't... pass right through me." 'Cherry' smiles faintly. "Is there anyway to do that? Preferably on something strong. Very strong, please..."

[Mee]

But," Naku says, looking directly at the assassin/waiter/multiclassdude, "if you do try to kill someone in here, I will dispose of you personally. That being said, you're welcome to sit down and get some food. You're safe as long as you don't try to kill people."

"Ah, I mean, um, something that won't... pass right through me." Cherry smiles faintly. "Is there anyway to do that? Preferably on something strong. Very strong, please..."

After her few words to the waiter/assassin/ninja/howmanymoretagscanIdo person, Naku turns to the ghost, and blinks a few times.
Not in surprise at the fact that she's a ghost; but why have there been so many assassins in the last few days?
Shaking those thoughts out of her head, she answers for Fade: "We don't as it stands now. But we have a crazy enough chef who would look upon this as a challenge that we can have something for you shortly.
What would you like?"

[Morcleon]

Beaming happily, 'Cherry''s whole form seems to glow with a cheerful light. "Oh, wonderful. A Dragon's Liver Buster, please. With a bit of the magical liquid, please."

Then, finally taking note of the other assassin, she gives him a calculating look and says, in an oddly chipper tone for the topic. "Y'know, if you really wanted to assassinate someone, you probably should have made a better plan. Would you like some help with planning your next hit?

[Mee]

Beaming happily, Cherry's whole form seems to glow with a cheerful light. "Oh, wonderful. A Dragon's Liver Buster, please. With a bit of the magical liquid, please."

"Oh, yeah. Of course. I thought you had wanted food; which would have been a bit trickier. Drink is simple enough." Naku says, kneeling to pull something out from under the counter.
She shakes the small vial she pulled out, and pours the contents into a cup; then fills the rest with the DLB.
Before handing it over to the ghost, she warns "Just realize that this is fairly strong, please."
The drink, suffused by the magic of the small potion, should be find for her to drink now. Best part, is it affected the cup too. So she can even hold it.

Naku looks at the aftermath of the drink, grins slightly, and asks "Well. Would you like another?"
She understands completely; she's been in situations where slamming back something truly strong helps.
"Rough day?" She asks, smiling slightly.

Cerise holds out the cup eagerly as she chirps, "Yes, please!" Her face seems far less pale than before, having gained a slight rosy hue, and her bright smile is still there.

She seems to calm slightly and answers with a nod, "Mhmm... today's target actually had some decent protection. I had to take out a lot more grunts than usual before I could get to him. It was pretty fun."

"My apologies." Naku says, frowning slightly.
"Any sort of operation," not just assassinations, you know. "is a lot harder when they know you're coming."

Naku also quickly refills the mug.

Taking the glass with a smile, Cerise takes another long sip. Smiling at Naku, she replies, "There's nothing to apologize for. I actually quite enjoy my line of work." With a rueful grin and another drink, she continues. "It's probably because killing is one of the only things I can do really well. I always get nervous, or pessimistic when I do anything else, even when I talk to people."

"Except, of course, when I'm as drunk as this!" She winks at Naku, and tries to sit down on a nearby chair, but falls through it. Laughing, she floats back up, a bit wobbly in her flight.

"Strahd," Naku said, walking over and kicking his feet off of the strainer they were resting on.
"Get up. There's food to be made."
Then she looks around a bit.
"You know, I hesitate to tell you your business, so I won't; but if anyone gets food poisoning, it's your neck on the line, m'kay?"

"Just . . . don't kill anyone," Naku says to Strahd, as the next order comes in, "and I will gladly take back everything mean I've ever said. Make sure the food is safe and clean and I will never get after you about it again.

Please." She said, as she turned to leave Strahd to his work.

It's not that she doesn't like Strahd, she just sees the kitchen as a disaster area that has to somehow be producing clean food that won't kill people. If Strahd can do it, then that's amazing and she'll be happy to keep him around. If people start dying or getting sick, there'll need to be words shared. But she was trusting him. Because she really, really wanted him to be able to do it.

With that, unless Strahd stopped her, she went back out to the bar, where people can talk to her again.

Yesh ma'am! Leaping to his feet and trying to look like he wasn't sleeping at all, Strahd attempts a smart salute, smacking himself in the forehead and stomping his footprint into the floor. No food poishoning, no mutationsh, no irradiation, nuthin'. I run a hazard-free kitchen! Well.... There miiiight be a few mice that were kinda-sorta-maybe zombified from munching on his food-zombies, but it's not like they're diseased zombie mice.

The moment Naku's left his workstation Strahd gets to work, dragging a heavy tuperware tub of live, wriggling blue lizards out from one of the many cabinets. Pulling on a pair of fireproof mitts he grabs a handful and tosses them into the barbecue grill, the salamanders bursting into flames with fright as they find themselves torn away from friends and family by the hand of some uncaring god.

The cut of choice is a weighty slab of auroch flank, with a light garnish of lemongrass stalks and garlic bits applied as it roasts over the salamander flames. About twenty minutes later it's been seared to a good medium, the outside crisply browned with the lines of the grill outlined upon it, the inside still nice and juicy. Poking his head of the kitchen, Strahd rings a little bell to summon one of the waitstaff.

Dinner is sherved.

Zane thanks Strahd for the food and takes a careful bite. after some chewing, he swallows.

Krystal and The Lady
The Lady wonders when she and Krystal are going to get their food.
It's been a while and she's starving!
Of course, that's because she recently regenerated, and she needs a lot of calories and carbohydrates.
And so, she waits.

[Mee]

"Don't worry, I won't kill anyone unless they kill me first!" chirps Cerise, spinning around and landing on the counter, using the dual nature of the cup to keep her from falling into it again. Then she takes another drink and laughs. "No, wait. I'm already dead. So they can't kill me!"

Her eyes become wide and hopeful as she asks Naku, "But even if you do have to cut me off, can I still keep the cup? It's the first thing I've ever been able to actually feel since I've died. I'll pay for it. Pleeease?"

Naku laughs; an honest, heartfelt laugh. One of her first in a long, long time.
"Of course you can keep it. In fact, I'd be delighted if you did. And don't worry about paying for it, seeing it make you that happy is plenty enough repayment for me."

((Well, MF; Strahd just brought all of the food out?))

"I'll be back in just a minute, all right?" Naku says to Cerise, before being swallowed by shadows, and reappearing next to Zane's table.
"So then what can I get for you?"

[Morcleon]

"Thank you so much!" exclaims Cerise, and attempts to hug Naku. Until she realizes that 1) she's a ghost, and can't actually affect the material world with her body, and 2) Naku is no longer there.

Pouting cutely, she floats back to the other side of the counters and takes another swig of her drink, relishing the icy burn of the magical liquid going down. She glances around the bar area, and sighs in contentment, a happy smile playing around her lips.

"I'll be back in just a minute, all right?"[/COLOR] Naku says to Cerise, before being swallowed by shadows, and reappearing next to Zane's table.
"So then what can I get for you?"

Zane mentally snuffs out the candle before turning to Naku.
"nothing for now, thank you"

"Uh huh." Naku says, blinking her blood-eyes a few times. "Then stop sitting in the corner being alone. It's suspicious."

"Suspicious? I'm more comfortable in the shadows, I can stay out of trouble if people don't see me..."
Zane rests his chin in his hands after his explanation.
