    Default Just another Melee/Caster build

I received a ton of excellent help in this thread http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showt...0#post14032320 (still haven't figured out one word links), and I'm making a new one since it died, and I still need just abit more help. So far I think I'm using Fighter 4/ Focused Specialist Wizard (abj) 2/ Abjurant Champion 5/ Spellsword 3.

At what levels I take each class Isn't important, But I am adamant in Abjchamp 5/ Spellsword 3.

    My questions are:
What schools of magic should I drop? Obviously not Abj.
What should I finish out with?
Should I go Human for the feat (and skills), or Elf for the intelligence and other various bonuses?

And, of course, any and all suggestions are welcome.

    1. I would drop necromancy. I think it has the least versatility, although there are certainly some nice spells you will lose as a result.

    2. You need 6 more levels to finish out, and there is no full-caster/full-BAB option of which I am aware. Based on your previous posts, (to do this you highlight the word first then click on insert link) I understand keeping up caster levels is not your first priority. Right now you have BAB+13 and CL 9. Eldritch Knight is a nice full-BAB option and allows you to finish out BAB +19 and CL 14. So unless there is a specific class feature you are looking for, I would just finish with that.

    3. I personally think the human feat is the best option, unless there is some elf-only feat you are looking into taking. The skills are secondary. As for the elf, frankly the INT is not as important if you are not maxing your spellcasting anyway.

True. Necromancy was one of my choices, but I still need to pick 2 more schools to drop. And yeah, I was thinking Eldritch Knight as well, but I just want to see what people come up with.

Evocation and enchantment are your best options, they don't add anything you need as a Gish.

Not a full caster (you lose 2 levels across the 6 remaining levels) but this sounds like a job for a Swiftblade to me.

Full BAB, 4/6 casting (assuming you only take 6 levels), Dodge and Mobility as pre-reqs (meh), (Ex) blur effect, quickened haste for no level increase, (Ex) spell miss chance, and (Ex) haste.
