EDIT: I would like it to be a long lasting game. So starting off as basic people taking jobs no one else will. Getting a name for our selves. Eventually leading up to kings work, then fighting in armies as the main people. Becoming hero's basically. But that's just my idea on what I would like to play.

In a weird world where humanoid animals, machines and demons live together, everyone struggles to find Milicrystals, a source of energy which is used both as currency, source of energy, and way to self improve. The Militowers in the center of each village, enormous machines from a long forgotten civilization, grant the Miliken greater powers when sufficient Milicrystals are brought to it. Those who bring enough Milicrystals are promoted to the Hall of Fame (heaven), the goal most Miliken try to achieve. Will you be able to amass sufficient Milicrystal to get there?

Much of the game centers around more day to day aspects of life in an urban setting. Occasionally, things get very very exciting. The game is in its 2nd year and is the sequel to a vampire game that went of for many years before (and it was a LARP before that).

Dark Souls: The Future Of Humanity
The future of Earth and Mankind it'self is bleak. The Age of Fire is gone, and Mankind has almost totally died out. There may be noticeable signs of civilizations still littering the worlds of Men. Earth, Mars, even outside solar systems have Human colonies with hundreds, thousands or tens of thousands, maybe even more people who have not caught the Necrometamorphosis virus, which infected Mankind, turning the once Human victims into ravenous ghouls, or perhaps, more intelligent undead.

However, out of the scores of billions that once populated hundreds of Human worlds, there are perhaps a few hundred million inhabitants left in the once prosperous Human societies which covered Earth's system and surrounding solar systems. No one knows where the Necrometamorphosis Virus came from, and nothing could stop it.

Note that we run using Maptool - it's not a play-by-post game although there is significant activity in the IC thread between sessions. Most sessions seem to be happening around 18:00GMT on Wednesday and 17:00 on Sunday but we are flexible and this can vary each week.

It's Western Marches style so you don't need to make every session, choose the ones you want to and are able to play! The campaign is very player-driven, you choose the targets, timing, and everything else. The world is there and waiting for you to explore... :)

A Multiverse Role Play. But not just any Multiverse, my Multiverse.


The Plot And Setting



For instance, Shu, Wu, and Wei exist, but the country is called "Zhong Guo" and Japan is called "Nippon". Also, technology is scaled back for the Uber Tech nations. For example, in Star Trek Terms, Warp Drive Eight hasn't even been discovered yet. The Earth Federation combines Babylon 5, Star Trek and some other franchises into one country, and other things are very similar to the franchises characters come from but it's all one the same world.

I've made a plan for the plot and setting to occur. The gods punished the Time Lords of Gallifrey Island thousands of years ago for temporarily ridding the world of magic, and thus ruining the Cosmic balance. The gods unleashed the Daleks from their prisons, knowing their first target would be the Time Lords. As a result, a once flourishing, magnificent island capable of waging war on the gods has been thrown into ruins. More than one hundred million people once inhabited the island of Gallifrey, and one million survivors currently exist all the throughout their former Empire.

Currently the Daleks are threatening to make a return to Orrecia (One of this world's names), The Burning Legion fought a three year war against Queen Zelda of Hyrule, before she allied with the other nations of the world to fight their armies back to the Twisting Nether. To FURTHER complicate the matter, the Borg are emerging from somewhere in space to assimilate Orrecia. The Earth Federation and other nations are struggling to put up defenses against the encroaching menace, while an interdimensional portal has been opened in the Under Dark, spraying the Under Dark with Xenomorphs, the alien monsters from the Alien vs Predator franchise. The serpent demon hordes of Orochi are falling on the lands like a storm of venom and bloody steel. Cybernetic soldiers and gun toting mercenaries are employed to repel the hordes of monsters overwhelming the mortal races.

All of these horrifying events taking place at once can only be hidden from the minds of the people in Orrecia for so long. The Robo-Cop initiative has been initialized in the Earth Federation, while the Earth Federation also creates the less expensive but significantly more industrially easy methods of creating Sky Net Terminators to protect the people of the Earth Federation. Little do they realize that it won't be easy to keep their artificial intelligence fighting for the Earth Federation's best interest.
To further complicate the matter, the Eldorado Republic and Caesar's Legion are squabbling over land rights in the Mojave desert of the forsaken rebel lands nearby the Earth Federation. Mr Hous'es Securiton's are powerful enough to protect New Vegas but with so many factions fighting against each other in the Forsaken Lands, such as the Enclave of the old Confederation, the Brotherhood of Steel and all the rest, it would be impossible to defend themselves from the Aliens spewing from the undergrounds like cesspit of death.

There may be hope. After all, this world must be smiled upon to be this messed up and yet still somehow be a livable place after many years of hardship. All of these problems and more are littering the world's surface and underbelly like a horrific Black Plague.
