Not really, given all the references in older episodes. And looking back, most of the names are pretty obvious giving away the plot (The Mysterious Mare Do Well? May the Best Pet Win?).

Honestly, the glut of Human in Equestria fics is the primary reason I've never seriously considered taking this from a though exercise to an actual fic idea.

Many of my ponderings regarding the impact that a sudden influx of humans would have on Equestria have focused on how ponies would react to humans tendency to consume meat.

I would go vegetarian in order to live in Equestria. Though Fluttershy doesn't mind feeding her pets things like fish so presumably I would be able to eat fish.

My guess for "Magic Duel" is that Trixie is going to return to Ponyville with some sort of magic-enhancing artifact doohicky, with the intent of challenging Twilight to a duel to prove her magical supremacy. During the course of which something goes horribly wrong, Twilight has to save the town (and Trixie), and at the end either Twilight or Trixie writes a letter about how its wrong to cheat or somesuch.

Was watching my daughter play with her ponies and apparently, if I understood her logic here, Derpy got transformed into the evil Muffin Queen of Ponyville. It required the Mane 6 to defeat her with the Elements of Harmony and bring Derpy back to normal.

To be honest, part of the largely unsubstantiated mountain of fannon I've developed from pondering this is that Equestria has some sort of fishing industry already, which is currently devoted to producing pet food.

Also, I've headcannoned that ponies were originally omnivorous (we know for a fact that they still consume eggs and dairy products), and that their current vegetarian diet is the result of it being socially unacceptable to eat other sapiant beings.

I would point out that Applebloom basically stars in all Apple family episodes. As the youngest and still learning, plus Applejack being the most stable of the mane 6, Applebloom is the low hanging fruit as far as how to get a lesson across in 22 minutes.

Sheeps are apparently the equivalent of foreign tech crew skilled in live stage productions. Buffalos leased their land rights to farmers in exchange for a cut of the produce.

Or perhaps Iron hoofed Celestia simply have some harsh discriminatory regulations that suppress that rights of non-pony mammals.


Also, Rainbows are established as an ultra-spicy liquid. It probably are aerosolized into the atmosphere in order to create an rainbow trail. (when they are not in the raibow waterfall form that is)

Which possibly means Rainbow Dash's body possibly produce and secretes the rainbow liquid when her body enters high aerobic metablism state.

Yeah, I'd say they're omnivores/cultural vegetarians, too, but anyone doing a lot of exercise/magic pretty much needs some sort of highly energetic food, be it concentrated carbohydrates or proteins.
