Be honest.
Would you buy this?
I sure wouldn't. Not without a LOT of cushions anyway.

For a fraction of the price I'd make my own.

Re: Be honest.
Not at that price.
I'm sure its worth it, but that's quite a lot of cash for a chair.π = 4

Re: Be honest.
It's not as uncomfortable as it looks. They had one set up at the GDC last year...
Still, I wouldn't buy it because it doesn't have the qualities I look for in an office chair... And it's expensive. My chair at home was made by Serta. They make beds... The chair is quite comfy. It wasn't the cheapest, but it wasn't expensive either.Avatar by me. If it's not made out of real swords to begin with, no.
Come on, an Iron Throne of plaster?!

Re: Be honest.
Not even at a fraction of that price. It doesn't look at all comfortable and it doesn't go with anything in my house. Maybe I'd consider buying it at material cost, but even then I'd be buying it for the material so I could melt it down and make something useful, assuming it's actually made of at least mostly iron.

Re: Be honest.
If I had a house or apartment that could fit it and I had a lot of money (or it were cheaper), probably so. It's not so much a chair as an ornament of sorts. Memorabilia. It doesn't need to be practical.

Re: Be honest.
I'd pay the iron price for it.
If I had that much money to throw around on what is essentially junk, then I'd consider it, although I was disappointed to discover when I first saw it that it wasn't made from iron (as much sense as it makes that it isn't).
It is pretty cool, but it'd be a reasonable way down my list of things to buy even if I became rich enough to afford it.GITP Blood Bowl Manager Cup

Re: Be honest.
I'd rather have spending money for a few years. I'd probably break it within a few weeks, anyways.

For that price I'd rather pay someone to make a real one.

At that price I'd rather buy one of these.
Still, pretty cool. And it SHOULD be uncomfortable to sit on...and dangerous!

Re: Be honest.
Entertaining as I find the idea of purchasing the Iron Throne, no. I never really liked the way the show visualized the throne to begin with; there's no way I'd pay that kind of money for a fiberglass/resin mockup of one of their props.

Re: Be honest.
At that price it would need to be made of actual high-carbon steel battle-ready swords.
And then I wouldn't buy it, because I don't need a chair made of swords. But, y'know, if I did.The following errors occurred with your search:

Re: Be honest.
I feel entirely "Meh" towards it. It doesn't appeal to me, it doesn't look comfy, and the price tag is absurd.

Yes. I am the Terminator. I can't be bargained with. I can't be reasoned with. I don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And I absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.
It's not about comfort. It's about sending fear into the hearts of your enemies!
Are you kidding!? It's worth exactly every penny!

That much for a kneeler's chair? You know nothing.
Gotta give 'em points for the sheer density of references in the description, though.
