If Grok received Jorge message, he doesnt show it.

Ghorfal smile at Altareic comment, and nod, before heading north into the tunnel, followed by Grok and Grik.

Ukthuur count the money right after Altareic, which take quite some time. In the end, you are escorted out fo the Neogi complex. You can see that the is an other dozen neogi guarding the entrace, which is some kind of easyly defensive bottleneck. Overall, you counted at least 23 neogis in the part you saw.

Once outside, you walk away from the complex and are finaly out of the monster grasp. Bolerum look at the two frighten goblins, who seem happy to be out of the slavers hands, but arent too thrilled to belong to a drow. As he speak to them, he can see that they are hesitant, but they still reply to the man, in common.

"Zig dont know any shaman. Zig escaped with Burk from masters, but us got caught by spider monters. Zig dont know any place like you say. Zig dont know this place, spider monster draged us from far."

Once the neogi are gone, "Altareic" snaps his fingers, and his illusion dissipates; he is once more a human card shark, not a drow nobleman.

"Well I reckon that were money well spent," he says jovially, despite having just spend over half the group's cash. "But lets not do it again. My drow prick routine needs a little work, I think."

He turns to Ung, whom he pats on the shoulder. "That's one podnah saved. Now we got Rik t'pull out of a dragon's den, and Tikka's body to recover from a garden of goblin statues, an we're set for Marklett. Grok asked us to wait up for him and Grik; he said you'd know the spot, Ung. Care to show us the way so we can take a breather?

He looks at the goblins, and speaks in their own tongue.

"Well, damn. We'll just need to hope to find clues to Tikka as we travel. Who were your former masters, Zig? And what's your name?" the paladin addresses the other goblin.

After the goblin answers, the paladin plants his battle standard and transfers some of his vitality into Ung.

"Are we planning to do anything about the human slaves?" he then asks his allies.

He frowns. "It don't sit well with me, mon ami, but what can we do? There was easily a score'r'more neogi in that there slaver's den, an' ain't no way they'd believe Altareic T'Chebasta would return fer some human slaves. At least goblins see in the dark. Only hope is if Grok an' Grik want to buy em', but I get the impression that ain't exactly their number one priority. Je pense the best we can do is hope some'un nice buys em' 'fore the neogi find some other use fer em'."

The goblins are clearly releived to learn that Antione isnt a drow.
Ung smile weakly at Antioje comment and say,
"Thank you friend. Ung happy free. Was their prisoner before. Not fun. Ung think he knows spot. Follow Ung."
Before he can head east into a sloping down tunnel, Bolerum heal some of his wounds, which clearly bring some releif to the orc.
    "Thank Bolerum friend."

The goblins start to relax a little more once they sees Ung, an orc, is taken well care of and that they also feel the restorative magic from the battle standard.
"Is name's Burk. He cannot speak, our old masters, the drow clan Les'thildar, cut his tongue. We are from a drow city, not sure of its name. But it aint this Marklet you speak of, so Zig sure want to follow you there."

Ung lead the group into a tunnel that cross over an other underground river. Once across the old stone bridge, Ung lead the group to the left side and set up a rope.
"Bolerum, you good with climb. Go first and help other. You see spot easyly."

Bolerum climb down and after 30 feets or so, almost half way down to the water, he spot a cavern entrace. It is easy enough to reach for him and he find some piton already set up to tie the rope to. Everyone climb down safely , with the help of Ung, Ashe and Bolerum. They end up in a 40 feet wide carven, with only one access. The group settle down, the goblins and Ung looking exhausted.

As Antione finish his sending ritual, the group notice some movement outside. They spot Grok, jumping off the cliff with Grik hanging onto him. Both slowly fall down, floating lightly and landing into the cavern entrace.

The witch shrugs modestly. "Weren't nothin', mon ami. Once a con artist, always a con artist, eh?" he replies with a smirk, still sitting with his legs folded. "We got stranded in an ol' Duergar fortress on account of a flood an' a bit of an earthquake. On our way out, I may have dealt with a teleportation trap somewhat indelicately," he elaborates, a little less pride in his voice this time. "I learned from Ung that he was captured by neogi with one a my Sendin' spells. When we found the secret tunnel into the neogi lair... well, it weren't no choice. Only way out was through, an' the only way t'git Ung back too. Speakin' a Sendin's, Rik's still alive an' kickin'. His, ah, host is throwin' him a sleepover or sumthin'. He says he'll meet up with us in Marklett."

Bolerum does detect anything out of the ordinary with Grok and Grik, who are as he remember them.

The half-orc rise an eyebrow, apparently intriged about the duergar trap. Even more once Antione mention some forteress.
"Yeah that earthquake was intense. Many tunnels broken down and remodeled the area. I am not sure how large was the radius, but considering the strenght it had here, it must have been felt quite far. So you ended up in some Duergar fortress hidden behind the Neogi's lair? Intesresting, I was not aware there where Duergar living around here, Ghorfal never mentionned them either. Did the duergar simply let you go or did you sneak throught their fortress?"

Grok look at Ung who still is sleeping.
"I guess we should rest before leaving. The neogi's are nasty creatures when it comes to enslavement. One of them summon some ghost that can drain life forces so they cannot try to escape. Are you headed to Marklett?"

Grok scratch his chin at Bolerum revelation,
"Drow killing Duergar, not an uncommon thing. I guess 'Ill check drow and duergar history next time I go to their city."
The half-orc smile at Antione, with a obviously fake insulted look,
"Of course I can read dwarven!"

The group settle down, with bolerum and Ashe keeping watch and doing some exercices, whle Grok and Antione work onrituals. The half-orc doesnt hide his interest in the ritual book Antione is studying, but doesnt ask any more questions.

Ung and the goblins seep the whole day and it is only at the second watch turn that Ung wake up, apparently in decent shape. The orc take his guard duty turn for the rest of the night, letting the other heroes sleep.

    September 5th - 6th, 1500 :
The heroes wake up refreshed from the night. Even the two goblins look better and after some food the group is ready to travel. Grok take the lead, knowing the underdark the best. The group travel half a day when they reach some dead when a tunnel caved-in.
"Stupid earthquake! I'll find an detour, but we might not reach Marklett in two days after all."
Grok lead the group into some other tunnel and they once again meet some dead ends. Still Grok remain confident and move around the caverns methodicly and while you understand that the progress is slowed down quite a bit, the half-orc always find something he mention knowing to guide himself. After a days of travel, Grok find a decent spot to hide and make camp. THe group rest well again and resume their travel again. Once again, you note that the tunnels have been altered at some place by the earthquake and Grok say,
"Well this quake had some power and reach it seem. I guess it will tkae me some time to actually learn the correct paths again."
Still, the half orc doesnt give up and in mid afternoon, he signal everyone to stop and shut up.
Ashe can instantly hear some muffled voices ahead.
"Let be wary, this seem like some intelligent creatures, probabyl humanoids by the sound of their voice, but we never know. There is a large cavern ahead, with a nice spot to make camp and some fresh water source. Want em to go scout? Your with me Ashe?"

The goliath seem intrigued about your own quest, but ask no more about it.
He rise an eyebrow when you mention the statue.
    "Statue? What do you mean?"
The goliath look at his allies who shrug back at him.
"Well no, we are not seeking a statue, but like you, our mission objective isnt something I can share with anybody. But as you say, we can share camp, stories and drink! Mike, Bastien, come out, I do beleive these are genuinely friendly."
Two humans comes out of their hiding spot, to join Garek and the dwarves and other human.
"This one is Marek the magnificient, ou mage. The two dwarves there are Ivan and Pikel, our expert trackers.Oh and up there, we have Pinto, our gnome sorcerer."
The goliath point at an hidding spot along the wall, where a gnome appear from nowhere waving.
As you look at them, you can guess most of their capacities. The two dwarve are some sort of rangers, probably expert in underground navigation. Marek is some mage, as well as Pinto. Mike is surely some warlord, while Bastien look like some rogue. Garek himself is obviously a Kord priest and you can see now that you are close enough, that the whole group carry some Kord symbols.

"I'd heard tales of a golden statue,"
the paladin states. "Haven't seen it, though. So far, its been angry ghosts and neogi slavers." Looking earnestly at the adventurers, he continues, "They're dug in pretty well, back the way we came from. Had to talk our way past them."

Bolerum's downcast expression shows what he thinks of that tactic.

"The neogi are sending a trade delegation to Marklett as well. You may end up crossing their path. Their lair is next to a duergar ruin with nasty traps."

    The goliath look interested,
"A golden statue and duergar ruins? Well, I've never heard of any of this yet, but i'd love to learn more if your willing to share. But fear not, we wont compete for it, at least not for now as we have other things to deal with right now."
    The goliath smile at Bolerum.
"Our group had some nasty encounters in the past few days and we are in dire need for some rest time. I'm actually releived to meet a group like you here, free of drow, dark dwarves and other scum from the underdark. You might travel with some less trustable races," the goliath look at Ung and the two goblins, "but from if you'd wanted to fight us, you could well have tried to surprise us instead of warning us with like that."
One of the man caugh and say,
"Dont be too trusty Garek... it might be an act."
    The goliath smile and shrug,
"Maybe, maybe not. We'll see. That's just gonna be an other test of our strenght if your right."
The goliath pull out an flask, take a sip of its content and offer it to Bolerum,
"Let's share these drinks you talked about, I offer the first round."
