In the woods, rather a way from the main lodge and the cabins, Ilpholin and Darcy creep through the woods, hunting for a beargon.

Ilpholin's now normal tail (for having one in the first place) sways thoughtfully. So this was where Nadas came. She considers trying to sneak a glance to see if he's still in the camp proper or moved on to hiding someplace else by now. But the risk of AMEN's leader getting caught by GLoG wouldn't go over so well. Best just stick with Darcy way out here and look for beargons.

Look at that. Up high on the nearby tree trunks there are big gouges in the wood. As if something with big, powerful claws tore into them. Clearly it's the work of some fearsome beast!

A ways away they hear something large moving about. There's a rustling and some low growling sounds. Dare they approach?

Marty moves to knock on the door slowly, almost hesitating. He finally knocks and breathes in deeply. Hello? M-Miss V-Vidali....V-Vida...Vidalia? A-Are y-you h-home? Marty's nervous.

Marty smiles softly. There's someones voice he recognized! He'd been gone for a while...At least now there was no pyschotic drow chasing him, or The Inspector. He hadn't seen The Inspector in months...He shakes such bad thoughts from his head and knocks. Um...It...Um...M-Marty! M-Marty....y-yes...

Darcy dares! But as the two women move through the forest, they hear higher pitched growling above them as well.

"Ilphy? Do you have the gold?" Darcy whispers.

"Why would I carry gold around?" Ilpholin thought Darcy had it!

She does look up though as she follows Darcy.

He seems a little nervous at seeing Vidalia. We h-had a picnic by the l-lake. You...f-found me drawing, there w-was that H-Huldra thing...and stuff. R-Remember? I w-was wondering if...if...m-maybe we can t-talk a little? GLoG is m-my permanent home n-now.

"You're the one with the resources of a whole org!" Darcy says to Ilpholin. She pulls out a coin pouch and collects the few gold pieces out of it. Luckily, it's a bright day, or she might have seen the silver coins glowing faintly, but that bullet seem to have been dodged for now. "I hope that's enough. Hey Koro! Koro!"

Rebo has it on good authority that it has been snowing lately.

Has it been snowing in Glog, too? Who knows!

Though if it has been some surprise might be had when the sky suddenly splits a mile wide. Clouds are piled up on this side and that with a lane of clear blue between them.

From a position on the ground Zimrethel the seraph would look like little more than a streak of flame racing across the sky. No doubt Yuki should be close.

"Ah! That's it just over the next ridge, right?" the celestial calls out.

Ilpholin doesn't carry them around with her!

She does carry spending money though, so pulls out her gold coins as well. Though she had intended just to coo Koro back and promise him gold there rather than giving him any straight away. Well no biggie.

Yuki is indeed behind the Seraph doing her best to keep up with him.

"Yes, you'll see the lake and cabins up ahead."

Her reply is slow and in between gasps for air. She isn't the type to hold back when asked to push herself. She looks to have just about reached her limit sweat dripping down her disheveled hair despite it still being a bit chilly out. Determined to do her best she starts to climb higher and higher getting ready for the last dive to the finish.

Time to head down then!

Zimrethel tucks into a dive and drops to the ground far below! A strong beat of blazing wings slows the seraph to reasonable speeds as he touches down.

They made it!

"Let's see... how much time do I have left on break..."

There's no response at first. Maybe he isn't aroun- The loud thumping of paws hammering is their first warning. He's closing in, and fast. There's a large crack, as if a large branch or small tree was snapped clean in two. The beargon plows through the underbrush and skids to a stop right in front of the two women. *bear noises!*

[Reinholdt]

[Outside Infirmary]

Reinholdt blinks into existence outside the Infirmary cabin, flickering. He seems to have been through quite an ordeal if his bloody legs are any indication.

He tries stumbling towards the Infirmary door, but ends up 'jumping' the distance and banging his head against it instead.
"Ow."

Yuki dives down gaining as much speed as possible before flaring her wings at the last second to swoop back up into the air before floating back down to the ground. She is breathing hard and doubles over as she lands, seems she found her limit.

Jamie spies on Darcy and Ilpholin.

"That's me, yeah." Jamie smiles at Vidalia, blushing slightly, and lets Marty speak.

But then the door opens, and Quinn looks out, startled!
"...oh, dear. What happened?"

"Just wrestling with my nemesis, the laws of space-time." The law won.

Despite the humour, Reinholdt tone is particularly morbid as he stumbles inside, going to collapse along the way.

"That's me, yeah." Jamie smiles at Vidalia, blushing slightly, and lets Marty speak.

Vidalia winks once at Jamie as Marty speaks.

Vidalia doesn't seem to remember him, that is, until he mentions fixing his leg. Oh, that's right. I remember you now. How've you been Martin? Do you still have all those scars and stuff? she try to pull up his sleeve. And how's the leg? she ask as she makes her attempt.

Here they are.

Zimrethel casts a sidelong glance at Yuki before giving his wings a quick flick and folding them. He'll then walk over to the exhausted woman and stretch out his hand to touch her.

Should all go well she'll suddenly feel refreshed and invigorated!

That's a useful trick.

"You did quite well," the seraph comments. "I don't suppose you could tell me what the purpose of this place is? Unfortunately I don't have Zahasamel's intellectus, so I can't just find out for myself."

Yuki looks surprised once she is reinvigorated. "Well from what I know it is a place to help people who need a place to stay, or have strayed from the path of goodness and need redemption. That is what I have heard at least."

She gives a little shrug, as much as she has seen it is mostly a place for injuried people to come and get healed.

Jamie's blush deepens just a little at the wink, but she smiles, politely letting Vidalia and Marty talk.

Quinn, meanwhile, shakes her head and will try to help Reinholdt into a medbed. And by 'help' I mean 'forcibly drag if need be', of course.
"I figured, being a catboy, you'd know better than to challenge physics..."

"Really? Well. That's a laudable goal," the seraph muses. "Certainly more laudable than most of the other goals in this silly place."

It is a rather silly place.

"The redemption of the wicked is a wonderful service if it actually happens. Unfortunately selfishness and evil are easier for most to fall into than selflessness and kindness..."

One of the buggery aspects of mortals, really.

But at least they try!

"Well, regardless, do keep up with your flight training. And continue to search for your passions. Unfortunately I can't stay and chat much longer. There's a meeting if have to attend in a bit. You know how it is," the seraph says, waving one hand in a completely non-explanatory fashion.

Well if Quinn just let him collapse, then yes, more force than help is necessary.

"Since when have I listened to reason? I figured the fact that I like Tobias would have clued you in to that one."

Reinholdt lies on the med bed. Yay. Let's see if he can stay there.

Nah, she'd have caught him on the way down. She was more concerned he'd just up and run off...

"Oh? Well, join the club," Quinn observes, while Laying On Hands to provide some healing for those mangled legs. "Should I be prepared to get out the shotgun to run you away from my husbandHave you informed Toby of this yet?"

[Reinholdt]

"Don't worry Quinn, I never considered you a reason-ARGGHH!!" Reinholdt yells as Quinn tries to murder him before blinking randomly to a space next to the bed.

And then falling to the ground.

"I'm sooo sick of that happening." Why can't doctors just use stitches and bandages like everyone else?!
