yes, yes, those. Because a bear just landed on her and tackled her to the ground! Fortunately for Darcy, it's only a cub. Unfortunately, it's still a pretty big cub, and it's tearing into Darcy's backpack to find food.

It's attacking your girlfriend.

Ilpholin goes to nuzzle and pet and cuddle the bear, while gently suggesting/nudging it to move off of Darcy.

Quinn sighs, shaking her head, grabbing a magnet, and stepping out of the Infirmary.

Lume's navigational situation is similar - during his training and career, one person did all of the navigating and directly input the information into the minds of the entire unit.

Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, meanwhile, finds herself plotcloned here and stepping out of her office, right on cue!

Koro is suddenly quite wary. Even with gold so close, he's not getting any closer. He growls at the cub, though it's more wary than aggressive. He does not seem pleased.

"It's not cute! It's attacking your girlfriend!" Darcy says, while trying to use shapeshifting shenanigans to extract herself. It'll take her another round or two.

Ignore her, Ilpholin. The cub is cute! It even has teeny little horns growing in. D'aww!

It makes *bear noises* at Ilpholin. I'm hungry! And there's food in here! You better give me a better offer than just cuddles!

Of course it accepts the nymph cuddles. But its not getting down.

Koro might hear more *bear noises* in the distance. And they don't sound happy!

That's what I said, wasn't it? Marty. If not, I'm sorry. Just a little distracted. One of my sentries just died trying to get a message to me. He said someone was coming after him, then... she makes a splatting noise. I was just starting to like him too. she shakes her head sadly, then grins wickedly at the pair. But I left a little present for the bastard who scared him so. When I track down that garnet, he'll wish he'd never messed with me.

Marty turns very pale. I didn't...I mean...Oh...that...w-was...I m-mean...so sorry! H-Here! Marty was an honest man, if not a foolish one. He hands out the garnet, absolutely terrified.

Well Reinholdt doesn't seem to react to Quinn's approach. Perhaps because he's concentrating on staying put. Perhaps because Quinn's a stealthy ninja.

"Now, now, that's human food. Not bear food. I'll show you a nice lake later where you can hunt lots of fish." Ilpholin tells Koro Jr. Still nudging him off with, uh, nymph-like... nudges. I guess. I don't know.

Jamie's expression, now, changes from 'flustered' to rather more 'oh, crap'.
"...it mistook him for an enemy," she says, sadly.

Koro Jr is not at all convinced. People food is totally good for bears! He should know because he's been scavenging around the outskirts of the campground all his life! Much better than a lake. He tried fishing in Phoenix lake before, but got scared off by a mermaid! *little bear noises*

Darcy manages to squirm out from under the cub, leaving her backpack behind to be savaged. "So... Koro. You're a dad now?" Darcy asks.

There's a rampaging sound that is audible to everyone now, and *BEAR NOISES* that are loud and angry before a grizzly bear emerges from the trees and ROAAAAARS! a warning to Darcy and Ilpholin that they better not be hurting her cub.

Koro might recognize Sadie. Or perhaps not - who knows how many unsuspecting bear ladies he's seduced? But either way, she gives a bit of a growl in his direction too. Don't you dare go anywhere, Koro! I've been looking for you!

Andy comes back from another long day. He just undress himself from the costum he did wear for the halloween party.

Even thought he will watch out for other council members. He got something to talk.

Reinholdt turns his head around and up to look at Quinn, though awkwardly with an unusual view.

"Well now you're a true adventurer. Can't be an adventurer without falling into the mud at least once." And you can believe Reinholdt on the matter.

"I'd join you just to say we've been mud wrestling, but I honestly don't think it'd provoke a single response from anyone." Not even worth the effort.

Lume walks over to Quinn. "Doctor Quinn," he says, speaking carefully because he sees her as a sort of superior officer, "This patient and I were wondering if you would be willing to give us a tour of GLoG, since we are both new here and would like to familiarize ourselves with our surroundings. Also, I believe it would be healthy for him to move around a little."

Vidalia, confused at Marty's initial barrage of non-speech, is shocked when he drops the Garnet into her waiting hand. She looks up at him, anger starting to cross her normally pretty features. But, before she can say anything...

Koro backs up a bit, looking down at the ground. He's been caught! D= He makes unhappy bear noises. What did he do to deserve this?

Meanwhile, another bear cub bursts out of the trees behind her mother. Bear noises! She immediately goes over to poke at the bag with her brother. Whatever it is, it must be interesting!

Reinholdt turns his head around and up to look at Quinn, though awkwardly with an unusual view.

No way, Sis! I found this food! It's mine! *bear noises* The backpack is in shreds, and Junior is now feasting on the food within. Or at least the parts he can get to. Being a quarter beargon doesn't give him the ability to open tinned food.

Mama roars again, directly at Ilpholin. BEAR NOISES! Get away from my cub!

Aww, mom, lighten up! It's just a nymph. Can we keep her? Junior finishes his destruction of the backpack and sits up, licking his paws as he makes hopeful bear noises at mom.


"Ilphy, I think you should stop cuddling the bear and back away slowly," Darcy says. Of course she ought to remember that Ilpholin can hold her own against a grizzly bear and hardly break a sweat, but it's hard to think rationally when your girlfriend is being threatened by a bear.

"Oh, that's good to hear." I'm not sure if Mackerel has changed, but all his other clothes are either at the bottom of the ocean or littering some beach somewhere, being squabbled over by Island Goblins and similar creatures. So any changes of clothes need to be supplied; he does have coin, thanks to the sack of gold.

Honestly I'm not sure where it's coming from. But music begins to play none the less.

"When you wish upon a star..."

There comes descending from the heavens a teeny little green man in a snappy suit and a yellow top hat. He holds his umbrella above his head, born upon the wind like a dandelion seed caught in the breeze.

"Makes no difference who you are!"

He settles down upon a large stone at the edge of the lake, closing his umbrella and stuffing it into his tiny bag.

"Anything your heart desires will cooooome toooo yoooooou!"

The tiny man gestures at one Kitty, who was apparently spending time here by the lake shore.

"If your heart is in your dreams, no request is too extreme! When you wish upon a star as dreamers doooooo!"

Kitty, who is indeed sitting by the lake on a rock, bundled up against the cold. She's taken off guard when the singing cricket appears. She'd been distracted. Now though, she's just confused. "Um, hello?"

He gets that a lot.

And again, the tiny person doesn't look much like a cricket. He doesn't even have an antenna, wings, or extra limbs to speak of! More like a tiny green man with a funny-shaped head.

Anywho!

"Hello there, little lady," the teeny snappily dressed gentlemen says, leaning on the point of his umbrella. "What are you doing out here all alone in the cold, hmm? Something weighing on your heart?"

[Reinholdt]

"So your response to potential robots in my brain is to forcibly move them around and hope they don't - g?"

Reinholdt asks, a flicker disrupting his sentence again. He thinks he'd rather lie in the mud.

[Forest]

Ilpholin releases the cub. And moves towards the mother! She gets cuddles too!
"Awww... it's ok sweetie. Koro's been abusing that amulet, hasn't he? We'll take it away and keep it safe, don't worry."

Cause giving somewhat angry momma bear cuddles is such a great idea.

Whoops. Lakeside is already in use. Let's see...

He gets called a cricket when he's referencing a character named cricket!

"Um, maybe. Just thinking about things." There are a lot of things to think about after all, but she likes to just be outside too. "And it's not too cold with this on." She holds up her arms to show off the jacket she's wearing.

[Forest]

Sis is disappointed when her brother hogs all the food. What a meany. She is distracted by her mother a moment later, however. She has no idea why she's all roar-y. The nymph is nice! She makes bear noises along with Junior.

Koro takes this opportunity to take another couple steps backward. Even the promise of gold isn't able to make this situation any better. Stoopid Sadieand cubs.

Krystal returns to the grounds, leading her new companion to her living quarters.

Well, this is home and work for me. She gestures to the area around her. She walks a little slow, to let the Lady take in the sights around her.

I stay in a room in the Oak cabin. It's one of the newer ones. Each room is like a small apartment. Nice place.

Krystal will lead the Lady past a self driving motorcycle to the cabin in question.

Runner drives his way lazily across the grounds. He felt like going into the city, but he wasn't in any particular rush. He passes by Krystal and a new woman on his way to the entrance.

His path also takes him towards Andy.

The Lady follows along, nodding her head. She doesn't look at the sights much, as she's trying to focus onstaying awake.
She yawns again as they reach the cabin
"This place is...nice." she said in a tired voice.
