Re: LGBTAitP #28: Come Taste the Rainbow!
Chemistry sets are fun. My cat didn't think so though, in fact he hated the chemistry set so much that he tried to destroy it one day. Including the beakers of sulfuric acid.
From that day forward, my cat understood and respected the power of SCIENCE.
And as far as the hair length/style dicussion is going, I think pigtails are cute. The length of a woman's hair is not important to me, so long as they like the hair they are in. And the color doesn't matter to me. I once had a partner with a rainbow for hair.

Re: LGBTAitP #28: Come Taste the Rainbow!
As far as Hair goes, on other people, I really don't care what their hair looks like, as long as they like it.
That said, on myself, I'm not 100% sure how I like my hair. I've been growing it out for the past several months for a couple reasons. One is that I think longer hair gets me closer to looking "female", if that makes any sense. It's also one of the only things I can do to get myself closer to looking "female" without drawing questions from the people I haven't come out to yet... which is a lot of people...
Anyway... Just saying hi again
...
*sigh* I'm fairly stressed at the moment. I'm at my dad's place, which is always nice, because I don't get to see him all that often, but I can't really do anything... feminine. Heck, I hide my facebook and GitP accounts from him. Sorry, I'm rambling, I'll be quiet now...

Re: LGBTAitP #28: Come Taste the Rainbow!
Caveat. I don't care what their hair is so long as it looks good on them. If long hair looks good on you, bully. But if it looks terrible I'll tell you.

Well, if half the people are swooning, and the other half are in some sort of jealous rage, I'll be sure to throw in some plans of kidnapping.

So I used to have long hair, and this is the picture my mum took right before we hacked off eighteen inches (around 45cm).

I don't want to bring down the thread, but (warning, this will piss you off and upset you, you have been warned) this made me sick to my stomach, and I still have a complete lack of what to say. I am totally disgusted and appalled. This is the part of humanity that makes me sick. This will be law there by decemeber.......no words.

Yeah, if I comment on that I'll get banned. Religion and politics in a lovely union - not on this forum.

Re: LGBTAitP #28: Come Taste the Rainbow!
As to not bring topics into the wrong place, I will comment instead on the people protesting against those who does not conform to a narrow view of love, romance and sexuality:
An abomination is a thing which inspires great disgust and loathing. That love and attraction can cause you to detest a person merely for the genders involved says nothing about them. But it says all about you.
Hatred brings only sadness and grief, reasonless hatred most of all.

Yeah, I've known for a while. Remember, this is the same places of Africa where people are stoning their kids for being witches. Modernity is not the bigots' friend.

Re: LGBTAitP #28: Come Taste the Rainbow!
I really don't think I can add anything to what has already been said here. This is just... so wrong. "[For] promises of a better life."
Really? I could go over there with a boatload of money and offer to send people here for any kind of lifestyle they want.

I...I can't even imagine...
How can anyone have that much HATE? Especially a group that says it is following in the footsteps of love?
Not a good way to start the weekend...

Re: LGBTAitP #28: Come Taste the Rainbow!
Sorry to start your weekend out badly, Phee. I just needed other responses to this, or I was going to explode with anger.......I mean I am still very much pissed off about this, but at least I am not punching a wall.....anymore.
As a person who considers himself a follower of Jesus/God, this disgusts me on that level as well. I am not trying to say anything religious here, due to board rules, but this pure and raw hate hurts me not only intellectually, but also spiritually as well. I can literally not comprehend the pure hate that comes from these people, it is beyond me. These people use the belief structure I have (to love everyone and be the best kind of person you can) for their own agenda and twist this belief structure to their own end and to suit their own goals. Not to mention to twist the minds of the masses to their own ends as well.
When I hear of things like this, I can't help but put on my favorite Marley CD, Legend, and listen to his music. His music inspiries me to be a better person and to love all of my fellow people equally. There is no hate what-so-ever in any of his music, and it tends to cleanse my soul of it as well. I urge you all to do the same. Put on his CD, take a minute to listen to it, and let love fill your bodies and heart and let the hate melt out of you.
Sorry if I ruined anyone's day, but it helped me to see everyone else's outrage at this horrible act. I love you all.

Re: LGBTAitP #28: Come Taste the Rainbow!
I had no idea that Itt was spelled with two Ts!
Both! =D
Itt, you've taken off your hat and glasses
Wow. I mean, this is actually more advanced than what I would expect. These are the countries which believe it is bad luck to remove body parasites, right? A shame that the ability to reason is being used to accomplish unreasonable ends. Ah well, plenty of adults in America and the like who can't apply logic to their own actions, can't expect more from others.
Pretty much. Oh, hmm. My prior is pretty political isn't it? Let me rephrase that.
Oh! Demonolatry? I've not heard of that one. Would it be possible to give me information on how to find such?
A little too close to the religion mark I think, friend. as a matter of opinion. Usually best to be extra careful around a subject most woul argue is already religiously and politically charged.
