These guys should know Herbert by now. Kills appeared just when Baka was trying to summon a monster, and he probably had been annoying Herbert for a while, with his trying to find a use to his ring. Herbert has done ironic wish granting before, they should have fled as soon as Kills fell next to them.

You would think if she was such a trope expert she would create a character with more restrained boobs. The bigger and floppier they are, the more likely you are to have to run for your life. Crazy boob bouncing is a standard thing in horror movies. Its like watching DOA beach volleyball, only there is someone trying to kill them.

I mean, imagine actually being at that table. The party gets split up. One half goes on an awesome adventure and gets tons of development.

The other half gets jack squat until they're killed off without any chance to defend themselves.

You can't even claim it's because one's in character or acts immersive or whatever, because freaking look at Minmax, and then look at the guy who's Diety is the Dungeon Master himself.



Maybe this grinds my gears way more than it should, but honestly between the dodgy home-brew monsters, PC favoritism, and general nonsense I really think this is more the fault of an apparently-adult DM who should know better than it is what appears to be a few teenagers who can't be that experienced at the game anyway.

Well, we also dont know whats going on irl. The real players are either taking extensive breaks while the goblin story path plays out, or perhaps these three idiots have basically decided to quit, so herbert is using their latest level 1's to carry on the epic story with minmax and forgoth who are continuing to play. Honestly, these guys strike me as the sort of noobs who have no idea what they are doing, are half assing their way through a game and arent really that interested. You have the "girl" who is only interested in looky "sexy" and wearing as little as "she" can. You have the sadistic shorty who seems to be in it just for the chance to act out his violent fantasies, and the third guy who seems to be taking it too seriously and being a bit of a newb rules lawyer which wouldnt surprise me if he got bored from trying to memorize everything at once. They may not want to play anymore at all and just asked for a cool death scene of some sort before they go. Or this is herbert playing out their deaths based on how they have acted so far.

alternitively, maybe this isn't Herbert's doing. Thunt has stated before that Herbert has nothing to do with the GAP and that they have their own adventures completely outside of his influince. maybe this is as much of a surprised to him as it is the players.

Or alternitively, maybe the characters are expecting it to be part of Herbert's plan, but the players themselves aren't really doing anything, maybe even having quit the game.

Those 1st level people don't just up and poof when a player stops playing them, they are still alive, maybe these guys just think the game is still going on when it really isn't.
