Where's MS Paint when I need it. Or some other suitable... captioning and drawing arrows on a picture software.
Though I suppose you could say what's going on is a discussion of what makes someone have it going on.
That's what friends are for.
Or borrowing a spare from a relative.
I think both at the same time would be a little kinky, I must admit.

Re: Coid's Crowing Conundrum of a Canticle of Crookedly Random Banter #185
Indeed. My sister and I are unlikely to fight a duel over any matter. Particularly seeing as I as the likely challenged would demand we fight our duel with vast robot armies.
Nonsense! There would never be a revolution against my wise and benevolent rule!
And anyway, knighted individuals may still join revolutions if they want, there is no requirement of lower class or lack of title.
Well, anyone who desires to meet my sister can do so by randomly showing up at my front door. I would thus be obliged to invite you in for a cold beverage at which point my sister may decide to honour us with her presence.
Unfortunately, I have not the patience to meditate under a tree for a year to achieve enlightenment. It is indeed a shame.
Wait... You have never eaten lamb? It is a food most common here in Australia and indeed is the traditional thing to consume on Australia Day if one has not made arrangements to have a barbecue.Mauve Shirt, Savannah, Gnomish Wanderer, Cuthalion and Smuchmuch get cookies for making me avatars. (::)

I agree completely with that sentiment.
He's a big blue superhero guy who's basically a parody of all things superhero. He has SPOOOON has his battlecry, specificly because he wanted a unique battle cry that would strike fear and confusion into the heart of evil.
If you're going to be Kira and I be Misa Misa?
Understandable, Black Star is the best.

Re: Coid's Crowing Conundrum of a Canticle of Crookedly Random Banter #185
Yeah. Because I was in such a rush I just tipped everything out, combed through it for everything I would throw away, then dumped everything into random drawers. Now I have no idea where anything is, and my big awesome idea of finally organizing my set-of-drawers full of crap I don't ever think about has been less than successful. Now I just shoved all the clutter way somewhere.
Hmm. I like him!

Re: Coid's Crowing Conundrum of a Canticle of Crookedly Random Banter #185
It has snowed over a foot this weekend, and it's still going strong even as I type. It may get to two feet by tomorrow. And the forecast is quite cold for the next week, so it's going to stick around!
Winter has laid its hold at last.
It's a good kind of snow, too: fine-grained and fluffy, prone to soft heaps.
It is, indeed, as you say -- although in your high speech, the particular image has still I think evaded the lady's cognition.
It is no bad thing to be but one voice in a chorus, man!
Iiiiiiinteresting.
See, with a line like that, your innocence to the other entendres that flew around is suspect.
Lamb is quite scarce around here: I have eaten it perhaps once as a child, and it is rare even in finer restaurants. Some cultural difference between our respective post-colonies, I expect; although I cannot speak for all of Canada, only the Prairies [I can imagine it being more popular in Quebec].Last edited by Kneenibble; 2012-11-11 at 03:28 AM.

Re: Coid's Crowing Conundrum of a Canticle of Crookedly Random Banter #185
And yet it's still more organized then my room
The Tick's got a super power. His super power is the Power of Drama. The more dramatic and serious a situation is, the stronger he is.
But I don't want to kill you then get killed by my bestslavefriend after being defeated mentally by your protoge.
You've mentioned it before, yes.
Wow, two feet of snow. As much as I complain about the snow fall we get, I realize that there are some places that get two feet of snow per YEAR, but because of how unprepared they are it's a friggen disaster, so in a way I guess I'm glad we get a ton of snow as a norm, since we're prepared for it.
Still, looking forward to snow seems crazy, to me.
Also, I legitimately just did not understand your innuendo. Big words confuse Tiny Brain Zodi.

Re: Coid's Crowing Conundrum of a Canticle of Crookedly Random Banter #185
*hugs*
You're right, I had not thought of that: this city expects huge dumps of snow, so we have a rather extensive team of people and snow-removal equipment to keep the roads clear all winter. It might not be so fun in another place where it would shut down transportation.
Snow to me is magical and beautiful. It muffles sound and makes the mad world more quiet. Large amounts of it are also inevitable here, so why not enjoy it?

Re: Coid's Crowing Conundrum of a Canticle of Crookedly Random Banter #185
The thing is, I completely agree. Winter, especialy up here, is absolutely beautiful.
It's also unbelievably cold, it can be slippery, it's hard work to shovel constantly (though I haven't had to shovel in a while, fingers crossed on that note) and I'm absolutely terrafied of perfect silence.

Re: Coid's Crowing Conundrum of a Canticle of Crookedly Random Banter #185
Perhaps the primary difference is that we have long had a wool industry of some significance. Lamb is still slightly more expensive than other roasts, but even my family which is far from rolling in money can afford it.
If you are ever to visit our fine country, I shall politely ask my mother to prepare a roast dinner if you so desire. Perhaps by then, our sweet potatoes that grow wild adjacent to the roses will provide us with a generous bounty. But I doubt that as it takes them quite some time.
Hmm... Two feet of snow. That is a lot by my reckoning as one who has never seen it. If that much snow fell here, I would likely freeze to death as my house does not retain heat well. Then again, it would not be too hard to stay warm. A simple matter of getting out blankets and hot water bottles while we all gather in Mum's room as it is the most snug and has a reverse cycle air conditioner.Mauve Shirt, Savannah, Gnomish Wanderer, Cuthalion and Smuchmuch get cookies for making me avatars.
