And not just O-Chul and MitD, I just realized that the two pages are mirror images of each other regarding characters. Roy is mirrored by "Xykon", and he ends up fighting Xykon. Hinjo is mirrored by Redcloak, the current and next rulers of Azure City. And Vaarsuvius is mirrored by the demon roaches... I got nothing for that...

V is mirrored by the demon roaches - fiends and a fiend-dealer.

The Azurite wizard in row 2 is mirrored by a zombie.

The attitudes in row 2 mirror each other.

Even the mountains and the ramparts mirror each other throughout.

Speaking of "Xykon", I never noticed that the orange-pendanted one Redcloak is talking to in that comic is the Eye of Fear and Flame. It explains both why this particular "Xykon" is so nervous, and how Redcloak was able to deliver such a scathing putdown without getting roasted. And, given that it was dressed like Xykon, that must have been pretty therapeutic for Redcloak :)

I only just noticed this, too.

Also, Malack includes himself amongst "lizardfolk" in that comic. Furthermore, it is much easier to see in that comic the tail is within Malack's robes. Should have realized that his tail would be on the outside if he was moving as a biped.

I've always been on the lookout for strip titles being reused. I figure that it's only a matter of time before Rich reuses a joke; there are only some many witty titles, after all.

Which is why I was so surprised that I didn't notice that this most recent comic, 877, has the same title as 333.

Both are called "The Bright Side." I think I'm going to cry now.

In the last strip note the roache's comments aboutt the acid breathing shark. This is a joke about a book called "Dungeonscape", that Rich Burlew wrote. In this book you can find an acid breathing shark

This is kind of obvious, but I guess that some peoples didn't notice. In This strip you can see O-Chul strikes in the shark mouth and breaking some of his teethes. In the later panels you can see that the shark attacks with a red line in his mouth, and those are his gums.

This is obvious too, yet in this strip We can see Kubota reading some books. These are 4 edition books, including the player's handbook and the monster manual in the box (he is reading the dungeon's master guide).

And last, in this strip we can see Elan asking Malack questions because it's everyone's job to introduce new characters (like Malack in this time), and that if he won't ask him he'll just spew it in the middle of an action scene (he says all in panel 1-3). Look what we've got here in panel 2

I just noticed that in panel 9 of this strip, the Oracle makes a reference to Celia's occupation.
Wouldn't a better question be, "Why don't more tribes of orcs start spontaneously worshiping my hand puppet?"

In 861, Malack comments the metal door is airtight. I didn't think that line was revealing before knowing he's a vampire who can turn into fog at will.

Here in panel 5, Tarquin comments that he can "personally attest" about Sabine's "most useful skillset". Tarquin being Tarquin, this seems to imply that he actually has had sexual intercourse with his son's girlfriend.

Well, Nale is technically a younger, less subtly homicidal version of Tarquin, so even if the IFCC assigned her to the more large-scale big-picture Tarquin first... Never Mind. Brain Bleach. So Much Brain Bleach.
A game is a fictional construct created for the sake of the players, not the other way around. If you have a question "How do I keep X from happening at my table," and you feel that the out-of-game answer "Talk the the other people at your table" won't help, then the in-game answers "Remove mechanics A, B, and/or C, impose mechanics L, M, and/or N" will not help either.

Very much. Not that I find that event surprising (Sabine being an evil incarnation of illcit sex and all that), but still it's a bit brain bleacher.

Now thinking about that, Sabine having had a relationship with Tarquin would explain the high amount of despise she has shown for the old man.

    Default Durkon's Holy Symbol

Anyone else just notice that the center of Durkon's holy symbol changed from white to black in #878?

I suspect Durkula will be casting evil cleric spells soon.

Also, I understand why V is gagged to prevent spellcasting in #251 but that just makes me wonder why Haley needed to be blindfolded. Does it hamper her attempts to free herself from those chains?
