Tirya quickly sidesteps, and Nirva may find herself falling a moment later, as a wave of ice spreads across the floor around the half-daemon.

She falls, skidding as she struggles to her feet again, fists clenching with a snarl.

Tirya chitters once more, and begins to glow rather brightly, enough so that she becomes uncomfortable to look at directly.

Nirva taps her helmet, the visor seeming to change its transparency so she can better handle looking at her friend; she starts heading toward her, fists balling up.

Tirya, for now, simply waits for whatever attack Nirva makes, as she has a plan, if things go well.

She's taking her time as she walks forward, clicking a button on her belt.

"Yes, actually," Tirya replies, darting backwards and to one side as she does, since that button-clicking seems rather ominous. "You're a good sparring partner."

She keeps approaching, her gauntlets starting to pulse even more ominously.
Personally I prefer this to the whole dating thing...

"You always were good at playing to your strengths..." she replies quietly, still backing away, and starting to chitter again a moment later, plainly setting up for another spell.

She darts forward, hand flicking out for a blow like a hammer.

Tirya doesn't respond this time, mostly because she can't, what with casting a spell and all; she does, however, manage to duck under the blow, rolling to the right at the same time.

Nirva backs away, fists squeezing gently.
I'm not very good at the whole romance thing, but no hard feelings, right?

Tirya, apparently, despite the lack of obvious effects, having completed the spell, hisses angrily, though oddly, she doesn't move just yet.

"You know that."

Nirva nods, tail still lashing as she circles her ex.

Grant touches the inside of his left wrist. If DB can sense energy or anything similar, she'll notice that an immense amount has begun radiating from Grant, none of it pleasant in nature. Blue flame surrounds Grant's hands, making a high pitched sound almost scream like.

Anything you'd like me to demonstrate in particular? Ranged fighting, close quarters or something like that?

If it's some sort've normal energy that science might be able to detect, she'll notice it just fine. While the unpleasant feeling is overlooked, she winces and grins at the shrill shriek. Very cinematic, very cool. "Got any good moves, Mister Grant?"

Tirya doesn't reply for some reason, slowly turning to keep Nirva in view, but not making any other moves just yet.

Samael shrugs, starting to get uncomfortable; he's always traveled everywhere, packing light. He has a room back at RCA headquarters, but that tends to only be decorated with the clothes of whatever female agent he meets on leave. I'm not much of a reader.

Carrie eventually starts trying to wake her with kisses!

The Aspect opens her eyes and softly returns the kisses, then slips out of the chair to stretch. A new year? I wasn't asleep for that long...

So what's your resolution? Gonna add another half dozen redheads to your menagerie? She pronounces the word like she only heard it once, when her dad was talking about his children, and isn't completely sure she knows what it means. She also teasingly sticks her tongue out at her friend.

"Actually, I think I'll be working on the relationships I have and not adding more, as tempting as more redhead-having sounds." She giggles and sticks her tongue back.

You say that now, but just wait. Next time you leave the base, you'll run into a hot redhead and she'll follow you home and you'll ask Chris if you can keep her.
That doesn't sound like a bad way to introduce an amnesiac character, actually.

The plot clone of Grant with Divebomb whips his hand through the air horizontally, sending a wide arc of the blue fire towards the training dummies, severing them in half.
