Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
I believe I will be siding with Mr. Programmer on this one. Reinholdt.
Super Dark, perhaps you could actually explain yourself? Why should we trust you over TBF? And what's this about curses?

Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
Reinholdt on the grounds that Super dark hasn't done much other than ensure ThePhantom's lynch.
That, and Reinholdt hasn't done anything but follow wagons since Day 3. (And even then, he voted off wagon, then switched to the wagon. Given what had happened at the time, that particular switch isn't horribly suspicious)Last edited by Penguinator; 2013-02-18 at 11:25 AM.

I have to be on wagons. The Butler did it after all.

Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
Day 7
While the younger Twin mourned the death of his brother, TeeBe Ef noticed the Butler walking away from the cottage. Dear sir, I must insist that you stop where you are.
The Butler turned toward him, a look of innocence on his face. I was just serving him breakfast. *Cough Cough* When the smoke came. I barely got out alive.
TeeBe Ef was about to expound on his accusation, when out of no where a tree limb interrupted the civilized discussion. I'm afraid I must insist you die! he was pointing at TeeBe Ef.
This shocked the distinguished gentleman, but what baffled him more was the words that followed. I hate curses.
The villagers who had gathered by this point all looked to one another. What does that mean? Is he trying to tell us something?
The Ent looked at the confused people, groaned, and decided to expand on the hint, though he'd been warned not to, and had basically gone against the idea of what he'd been asked to do. I must kill TeeBee Ef, but he doesn't have to die!
Still not completely understanding, the people decided to follow TeeBee Ef and lynch the Butler.
Suddenly a great flame erupted where the old tree stood, and within moments, the Ent was destroyed.
After the blaze died out, the villagers turned back toward their original suspect, but he was running quickly away, turning into a dark cloud of smog and floating away.
SpoilerSuper Dark was killed by the Narrator for not following instructions. He was the Ent. Further explanation will be given after the game.
SpoilerReinholdt ran away while he could. He was the Hexxus.

Team Villager: Ent
Description: A living talking tree that can protect its inhabitants.

Since Ents are so tall, they can choose to scry someone they see in the distance.
Victory condition: Kill all the Wolves
SpoilerTeam Wolf: Hexxus
Description: An evil entity focused on destruction and decay, you seek to destroy nature.
Abilities
Manipulate: Once per game, can Manipulate another player into doing your bidding. You must release them from your Manipulations in order to use the other two abilities.
Mimic: Can change shape in order to fool scries. If scried more than once though, they will see through the smoke.
Poison Rain: Once per game, target two players. One is Killed, the other is Voided.
Victory condition: Survive

Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
Night 7
TeeBee Ef scanned what was left of the villager population. Nobody during the past seven days had been rude or otherwise impolite, if you didn't count the killings that took place both during the nights and days. So he once again focused gentlemanly abilities on one of those who walked past heading for his home.
But before he could announce what he'd read of the other's disposition, a screeching noise seemingly came from no where, and a body tackled him to the ground. Ohmygod, youarejustthegreatestseererever. Andthewayyou'vebeenthroughthiswholetravesty, Ican'timagineanyonekeepingittogetherthewayyouhave. Andthentherewasthatonenight, whentheHexxustriedtokillyou, butyouwerelike, "No mister smokey face, you can't harm me with your offensive smoke." the creature said in a fair imitation of TeeBee Ef.
The creature on top of the Gentleman finally took a moment to breathe, and TeeBee Ef was finally able to get a good look at his attacker. Of what he could see, it looked to be another one of those ponies, like Princess Luna. But this one was terribly excited. So much so, that she was vibrating with energy.
My dear pony, TeeBee Ef began, but he immediately regretted it.
Ohmygod, ohmygod, ohmygod!! The pony chanted excitedly, and began stamping her hooves. He's speaking to me!! it called out happily, even as blood began splattering everywhere. Only when a big splat hit her on the nose did she stop and look down. Oops. And with bloody hooves, the pony ran quickly away.
SpoilerTBFProgrammer was stamped to death by a pony. He was the Impeccable Gentleman.

Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
Well, no message saying the wolf king is vunerable, so that means... LyLo. Joy.
Well, my suspicions currently lie on Gray Mage. Not for anything he's overtly done, but more because of the targets left he has been quietest and done little to actually help town.

I wouldn't mind hearing more from Gray Mage. Hasn't posted more than once on any given day save one. And on that day, the second post (aside from the voting post) was to apologize for missing a day.

Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
I don't feel much wolf vibes from either you nor us, so that leaves Pengui.
And well, about me, depending on the other townie roles, I might be sort of a not bad choice. I sadly haven't been able to pay much attention to this game, so the most I can do is give a role claim. Should I do so? Or if you'd like, I can answer any questions you may have.

Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
There isn't much information to vote one way or the other at this point.
So anything you two would want to add would be nice . . . a role name, the first person you targeted, you know whatever you think would work.We love plural first person personal pronouns.

Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
My ability is a boosting ability. It is more likely that it doesn't work, and my targets are told nothing if the ability does not work. I had been boosting Super dark, the claimed seer. My ability actually worked once. Last night, I targeted Diego Havoc, because he had a believable role claim, and I wasn't sure on Gray Mage or &we. Last night, my ability did not work.

Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
I don't still have the PMs, as my box is a constant disaster, but I think I remember.
Night 0/1: Reinholdt/Istari? It worked night 0 and night 1, but I'm not positive of the target order.
Night 2: Super dark, didn't work.
Night 3: Zar Peter. I think it worked?
(Night 2 and Night 3's targets may be reversed, but I believe it worked on Zar.)
Night 4: Super dark. It worked.
Night 5-6: Super dark. Didn't work.
Night 7: Diego Havoc. Didn't work.

Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
What exactly does "boosting" mean, anyway?
And if you were boosting a claimed seer, why choose Super Dark over TBF? (not accusing here, just curious)

Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
I don't know, I would assume it works different ways for each role. I didn't contact my targets, as I had no way of knowing what they were doing with their boost. I just had to hope for the best.
As for boosting Super dark, I still wasn't sure I believed TBF. He had made some rather out of character slip-ups in the first few days, and the "seer test" day 3 killed a townie. (This wasn't a direct result of his actions, mind you, but it didn't make me feel any safer)Last edited by Penguinator; 2013-02-21 at 06:50 PM.

Re: Custom Werewolf III: In Need of Trees
Hmm. Seems fair.
I'll be interested in hearing from Lex (or maybe the role creator) after the game on how this boost thing works. I suspect it didn't work on me because I have no night actions.
If you're correct about night 4, judging by Super Dark's reactions after that night, that was probably when he baned himself (or someone else). The other nights he may have been using his scry. So maybe you can boost a bane but not a scry. (This may or may not be important, just thinking "out loud" here)
Gray Mage, more info about your role would be appreciated. What's your passive, and has it come into effect this game?
Going to bed now. Responses tomorrow.
