Cool, thanks! I've been looking straight through the archives on wizards.com but as far as I could tell there was no way there to sort by level, I just had to open all of them and see.

Last night I was looking at one called "Killing Ground" (issue #189), anyone played that before?

That reminds me, I forgot to give any instructions about magic items. What I was thinking was just everyone can get as they can buy with the normal starting gold for level 11 (as long as only one is rare and the rest are uncommon or common). We can also use inherent bonuses so that people with less magic items aren't at a major disadvantage. (Somewhere on the board I think there's a description, but I can't remember where--if anyone knows, feel free to post the link--or if you're using the wizards.com character builder, it's just a box that you can check.)

For 11th level it looks like it's 5000 gp.

For level 11 it's usually a level 12 magic item, a level 11 magic item, and level 10 magic item plus 5000 gp.

I assumed that was what we were using.

Also, are we combining for a single party? If not, how are we splitting up? I'm leveling up now, and need to know if I should take controller power and rituals.

Grimbar has a LOT of healing (perhaps it could be argued that he has too much) but he also has a lot of surges, decent defenses, and 3 or 4 ways to mark enemies so he kind of fills the defender role as well.

It'll be this party of 6. Right now it looks like we're heavy on defenders and leaders, lightest on strikers and controllers.

Okay. I'm going to redo my character, since the only reason I chose the Easgle Shaman was because we had a party member with a good RBA. I should have it ready soon.

To everyone: I forgot to mention this earlier, but I actually prefer the iplay4e sheets over myth-weavers, so if you want feel free to convert your character to that instead. I won't require it, though, since the old sheets were myth-weavers, and because I think the file format iplay4e uses requires a subscription to WotC, which I'm not sure if everyone has.

Here is the iPlay4e sheet for Grim.

I'm using the old character builder so there is no power card data and some of the item links in the compendium are broken. But it's better than dealing with some of the bugs in the online version and not being able to fix them myself like I am with the old builder.

That sounds good to me. Everyone can get those items plus whatever you can buy with 5000 gp. Just remember to limit yourselves to one Rare item apiece (if I understand the current rules on items, it's supposed to be one rare item per tier, right?). And feel free to give me a wish-list for future items (including whatever paragon-level Rare item you want).

Is Hircine still in? I'm thinking that a hybrid druid would fit what I'm trying to accomplish, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes. I'd be fine with focusing on implement powers is Hircine wants to do more beast form powers.

I made a cold-using hybrid druid-shaman.

Take a look if you want some inspiration.

This character was created using the Living Forgotten Realms rules, which means I could only spend the 5000 gp of free cash on common items and could not start with any rare items, plus expertise and improved defenses were not free feats.

Last I heard, Hircine is still in. I think two druids will be ok if they're different styles, which should definitely be doable if one is a hybrid. I don't know if Hircine has started leveling up to 11 yet; maybe you two could get in touch to coordinate what you have in mind and what each of your builds will focus on.
