I've added a new endnote (A) for Soon Kim, who died of old age (and an "a" for Eugene Greenhilt, who died of old age but has come back as a spirit).

I've also added "x" to the Zombie Angel and Zombie Dragon, who were killed by Xykon and then brought back as zombies

I think I found an error here. It is marked that Eugene Greenhilt died of old age, but wasn't he killed by Xykon?

No. His mentor, Fyron, was killed by Xykon. Eugene was helpless behind a wall of force at the time.

The tale can be seen in strips 78 and 110. In Origin of the PCs we learn that (highlight to reveal) Eugene has died numerous times, and finally died of old age.!

Query: Should we count Nale's appearances as Elan as an appearance by Elan (as well as an appearance by Nale) on the theory that it is a "likeness" of Elan? This applies in reverse for Elan's appearances as Nale. After all, we counted the drawing of Elan on Nale's blueprint, the statue of Xykon, etc.

If Sabine were to alter her form to look like Celia, wouldn't we count that as an appearance by Celia (as well as by Sabine)? I'm thinking I need to add a few appearances to the twins. (To be specific it would add 10 more appearances for Elan and 2 more for Nale.) What do you think?

No, definitely not -- it isn't an appearance of the character. In fact, I think appearances that are only "in likeness" (such as the blueprint) should be crossed off for the same reason.

I'm inclined to agree. However, there are all sorts of judgment calls that could go either way -- I'd count something like Xykon watching them in his crystal ball as an "appearance" if we actually see the characters, but wouldn't count this as as appearance of Durkon and Hilgya. Also, I'd consider this to be similar to the blueprint, and not count it as an appearance of the Linear Guild members who were lost on their first encounter with the OotS.

The bottom line is that there are enough gray areas that the fine details of the statistics are always going to be a bit fuzzy.

I sympathize witht his position, but I think that bridge was crossed long ago. I'm not going to go back and undo all the "likeness" appearances, such as Xykon's statue. So I think I will add in Nale's appearances as Elan as an appearance for Elan and vice versa.

Um, can't say I'm a fan of this, since only those with the book can check the references. Also, if we're going to start including printed material, shouldn't we include the bonus strips in "Dungeon Crawlin' Fools" that haven't actually been published on the web?

I plan to do so as soon as I get the book! But if plenty of people complain about this, I'll get rid of it.

It would be cool to have a compiled file of the appearances in each consecutive comic. In that way it would be possible to draw graphs of certain characters moments of fame, and stagnations through the development.

I do not like the red additions of the Order of the PC, because there are no strip sectioning in this book, only pages. Also, this statistic is a static count (it will not change) while the accumulated figures are dynamic. This makes the figures from OotPC slightly incompatible with figures from the ongoing strip, and also quite uninteresting.

For these reasons, I (for one) would like to have the red statistics separated from the black, under a separate heading: Number of appearances in OotPC.
