Upstairs, you find that your room has no visible handle, lock, rope, or other traditional mechanism for opening it. Inside, there is only a single hand-sized flat crystal in the center of the door.

Because you attacked the Sad Flint.

The door does indeed open.

It opens onto a 10 x 15 room. There is a bed, a chest of drawers, and a large wooden chest that doubles as a nightstand. There's a rug on the floor and a single small window that lets in light.



The door has a standard dead bolt to lock it from the inside. This appears to be independent of the crystal device. As to the magical lock, it appears to be entirely magical in nature with no obvious moving parts.

The elf will begin making two scrolls of dimension door over the next two days, procuring food and materials as needed.

The price of your meals will vary based on where and what you eat.

Also, check the crafting rules from the recruitment thread. I'm pretty sure that you can craft both of those scrolls in a single day.

Sorry for the delay. I've been dealing with a lot of personal stuff this past week.

You head outside into the Plaza. Night has fallen, and the foot traffic through the Plaza has lessened, but there are still a couple dozen people at any given time traveling this road at this time of day. The street vendors have all closed up shop and left the area, as required by law when night comes.
