Non-Exalted Skylord prc?

Does anyone know another prc focused on aerial combat, such as the Skylord from BoED, but not an exalted class?

I thought I saw one once in a FRCS sourcebook but I can't find now.

You are thinking of the Aglarondan Griffonrider from Unapproachable East. There is a 3rd aerial class as well, but I cannot think of it or its location offhand. Let me check books.

There's some in both Champions of Valour and Lords of Darkness, too;

Knight of the Flying Hunt; CoV - gets a pegasus mount
Moonsea Skysentinel; CoV - gets a dire hawk mount, specialised in fighting...
Zhentarim Skymage; LoD - gets ANY flying mount, HD subject to class level+cha. A list of suggestions is included, but by RAW, not limited to those.

A knight of the flying hunt or moonsea skysentinel is also an option (Champions of Valor, despite the source it is not exalted, requires to be good though)

Windrider from masters of the wild is also another prc focused on aerial combat.

And I cannot think of any other atm.

Forgot about Zhentarim Skymage. That class is a bit ridiculous, for the exact reason you listed + full casting progression.

For a slightly different take, be a Raptoran and take Stormtalon (Races of the Wild, p131). Easy to enter for melee, get faster flight and bonus aerial feats for yourself.

Or just be a Raptoran at all and take a PrC that doesn't suck. Having played a raptoran that adhered to the fluff given in RotW, I love the race and the concept behind Stormtalon, but it's really just a glorified Fighter (except its bonus feats are far more restricted).

Raptoran Scout maybe? Or how about a Raptoran Arcane Archer build? Fighter(or ranger) 1//wizard 5//eldritch knight 3//arcane archer 2//eldritch knight +7//???? 2

As a follow-up question, for my teammate, what are some feats that make use of/expand options on flanking?
