Re: "Small Town" Chapter 1
SpoilerI am only down 6, so I should also be fine. Also, I will be out this weekend, so feel free to control my character if another fight breaks out.

Re: "Small Town" Chapter 1
How long do you think it would take to walk around them? I would prefer to not walk into a swarm if I can.
Ivellios takes a moment to draw his bow, just in case.

Re: "Small Town" Chapter 1
GZS Air Freshener
The Swag team heads the short distance back to the fallen Giant Zombie Spider. They begin the grisly work of hacking into its rotten carapace, segmenting its segments, and donning the dead dangley bits. Ferran finds some dried stingy bits inside the legs that have an offensive odor, but will not seep into his garments. Ivellios breaks a bit of shell and wears it as a breastplate (though not truly effective as such). Pock finds a particularly stinky organ of some sort. He discovers that he can avoid most of the mucky gross bits by placing it in a sack and carrying it over his shoulder. Akbar smears an old apron with zombie spider innards.
Having stank themselves up sufficiently, they tentatively head into the throng of moshing vampire butterflies. It appears to have no effect, but neither do the butterflies pay them much mind. Instead, the carry about their business crawling over each other and supplanting a strange goo from one to the other. It is grotesque, and the heroes are not far into the crowd when they realize that the butterflies are all mating! So here they are, covered in zombie spider bits, crawling and ducking under giant vampire butterflies whilst they engage themselves in a mass bug orgy. They can keep crawling through if they wish and they will probably run the course unimpeded, but they run the risk of angering a mating pair or turning an already disgusting experience into something truly... scarring. To complicate matters, the party can hear the screams of humanoid women emanating over the din of insectoid love to the northeast. Someone is in distress!Avatar by Cuthalion

Re: "Small Town" Chapter 1
Ferranbear and Ivellious move towards the screaming. Ivellios gingerly crawls beneath the mass of butterfly limbs, while Ferranbear barges through like a bouncer trying to reach the other end of a crowded pub. Akbar and Pock follow. Akbar finds his snack wagon to be an ungainly burden, but he manages to push it through. An incidental Volderbein here and a Hinterbein there stamp toes and whack someone's back. A paw is trampled.
Spoiler
If you didn't want to follow, post as if you did not and a simple edit will take care of it.
"mob" damage from being in the butterfly mass. Every 2d4 rounds. Keep in mind that the butterfly mob can still become aggressive like the ones described below.
F (1d6)[5]
I (1d6)[5]
A (1d6)[4]
P (1d6)[2]
No more than fifty feet in they find the source of the muffled cries for help. There, under an over cart and beside a dead horse team, are two cowering halfling women. The boys just catch a glimpse of them before they are again obscured by stamping bug bits, but there they are. Two adorable halfling girls. Sisters most likely, considering their similar high cheek bone structure and identical elegant golden curls. The butterflies swarming over top of the cart are in a much more aggressive mood than the other peaceful love making butterflies surrounding the party. CRACK! One of them blasts its proboscis right through the bottom of the cart and into the dirt, just inches away from the girls. They shriek in response. There are about eight of the aggressively oriented butterflies in an absolute rage trying to get at the halfling sisters.

Pock whistles softly.
That... is a lot of butterflies. Think we can distract them?

Re: "Small Town" Chapter 1
Ivellios knocks an arrow in his bow and takes aim at the vampirifly.
We don't have much time to concoct a plan here. I suggest you anger them, then run. Preferably Pock would do so since he can hide within the crowd but I suspect we all will have to fight or flee.
