Between StickTales, calendars, the recap and cast pages in the print books, Belkar's hat, Nale's spell, and Tarquin's flashback panels, Yikyik is like the OOTS version of Lt. Joe Carey from Star Trek: Voyager in that he has more "fake"/flashback appearances than "real"/present ones.

Yeah, I've been wondering the same. By my count, she has more appearances than any other living humanoid without a name (the demon roaches, Empress of Blood, Ancient Black Dragon, Zombie Dragon and Boot-Wight still have more than she does).

I'm going by absolute number of pages appeared in, not number of strips appeared in, so my count might look funny.

I wonder if Rich can't recall if he named her at some point. Remember when Andi was originally called Sally before he went back and edited #951 after the later strip contradicted it?

The High Priestess of Odin has 16 appearances, but she at least has a title, and her arc is entirely contained within a span of 27 strips. Crewwoman needs some love.

I guess I'll take this opportunity to mention that I made a character index on the wikia wiki site from the update posts in this and the previous threads. The counts are not the same in all cases. Not sure if others have something similar floating around, but I found it helpful to create the data set so I could move through the comics in just one character's story line. Mad props to everyone on this thread for creating the content for me to pull out!

Thanks! I learned in the current comic strip forum, that his job is actually called Helmsman (or just Helm - there are not only men out there). Navigators do something else. Did not know that before :)
