Also, haven't we seen the cleric in the flashback before? Was he the one who exiled Durkon in the first place? I don't have OOPCs nearby.

Does anyone with a handy copy of Origins know if Durkon's professor is the High Priest of Thor?
Edit: And Anor ninjas me with the same post effectively.
2nd edit: And after digging out my copy, the helm that the High Priest of Thor, Hurak, wears is different from Durkon's professor. So unless we see him again and he's addressed as either of those names, he's a new character with one appearance, thus unlisted for now.Last edited by Yana; 2014-06-03 at 08:35 PM.

Re: Number of Character Appearances V
The one in Origins had horns on his hat-thingy, which was also shaped differently. I'm calling this one Cleric of Thor, not that it matters.
Darn, ninja'ed!

Re: Number of Character Appearances V
That's one of the first things I checked after reading this strip.
Besides the hats, the high priest of Thor and the professor have different beard and hair design. Even taking in account the art evolution of the webcomic and the black-and-white of the graphic novel, they're clearly different characters.Spoiler

PC: Excuse me, what?
DM: I said, roll for initiative. They like their cheese really ripe in these parts. They have the ooze type.
"Excuse me, but... is it a GOOD or a BAD thing when the DM can't help bursting into laughter every time he hears the phrase 'level-appropriate encounter'? No, just curious..."

They're named characters who are already on the list, in fact.

Re: Number of Character Appearances V
In response to that, I'd like to point out what may possibly be a nickname for the Monster in the Darkness - not his real name, most probably, but the name Mikey sounds good.

Also, even if it were the MitD's real name, 'Mikey' is not something people reading this thread will immediately connect with the MitD. MitD is.

Under 2 appearances, "Bearded Devil who slained" should probably be "Bearded Devil who is slain".

Re: Number of Character Appearances V
I imagine that if someone's name is Salvatore, and they usually go by Sal, that some of their close friends might call them Sally. So, sure, it can be a boys name.
I like semicolons; they make me feel smart.

Looks like confirmation that Fidel is Bandana's dad.
EDIT: And assuming he married Bandana's mother, that would be Lakaita.Last edited by Yendor; 2014-07-25 at 01:17 AM.

Re: Number of Character Appearances V
It looks like Dark Mistress Shadowgale and Haley's Self-Loathing are sharing an entry already, so this would count as an appearance for one (and hence both) of them.

Once Blackwing outstrips Nale/Xykon/Redcloak (as seems likely) can we consider bumping both him and Mr. Scruffy up to the Protagonist rank?Last edited by Yana; 2014-08-13 at 10:19 AM.

Re: Number of Character Appearances V
I vaguely recall Wrecan saying something about potentially adding Blackwing and Scruffy to the protagonists section (this was back when neither of them had more appearances than Xykon and Redcloak). I don't remember precisely what it was.
