So folks, with the return of the forums I introduced a new pub to Mallside that I was meaning to toss in there for a while now. It started as a location of convenience in a Nexus based chat RP while the forums were down, where I used it to test the waters.

A couple of things if you'd like to post there:

There's only one full time employee during the day, the owner by the name of Lia Boss. She moved from the pub's previous location on a street of Inside and changed the name from the Lucky Hole to the Lucky Shot to try and attract a few non-regular customers and take advantage of Mallside's centralized location. During the night she has a staff of godmoddable minions running the bar and kitchen, who come an Evil Overlord minion temp agency. They're practically useless, so there's anywhere from 3-5 of them doing the jobs that she pulls off on her own during the day.

The bar's entrance into the mall is closed and locked during the night shift, so no sneaking from it into the non-open Mallshops to knick off with some stuff, unless everyone is alright with it and it's properly RPed.

Since it's a Mallside location, it's not a pub where fights happen. It's a family establishment.

If you're going to post there alone, be patient with me and poke often if I'm forgetful. It's been a while since I took on the responsibility of a location and I need your help to not screw it up.

There's potential for a built in plot line with this location if it goes over well enough that might reveal more about Lia, the bar, and the people who go there. I won't say more than that just yet but for people who enjoy intrigue with their ales and stouts I've got something in mind.

And finally, there is of course a "suicide" wing challenge for people who want to try their luck. It's called the Wall of Fire, appropriately enough. People immune to non-magical spices and chemicals are encouraged to not try it, to avoid making a mockery of the challenge. Everyone else is free to give it a shot after they sign a waiver.

I described the location a bit in a Mallside post here, ignoring the random stuff about the fey who've stopped by it.

So he uses her ring and teleports to an old wooden cabin in some dark woods Outside. She'll look around and see a small cabin. A bed in the corner, a bathroom outside, and a small kitchen. There's also a room with a stone slab, and five tubes hang from the wall over the slab, which all attach to a gallon, empty. He'll move over to his bed and set her on it. Are you alright?

One, that's not Rage powers. That's numbfrost, from Calublufiok. Godmodding? Didn't mean it to read as such. Always mean for the posts to be attempted. Goddess standing? What the..? I don't remember a goddess?! What?

I'm not sure, but I think the Rage thing is happening in an alternate timeline. I would, however, like to point out that the blue-voice thing came from Rage, and Marty seems to have shifted into that halfway through the scene with DEB ..?

Does that strike anyone else as a little odd?
