Magtok goes quiet for a minute or so, before abruptly resuming conversation with a sigh.

"You understand my situation, right? The MagCave is where my family lives. Well, where they live when I'm not sending them away for their own safety, I mean. KR made such an offer and supplemented it with free guns and equipment, and even then, I'm still not sure I can trust her with free reign of the place in the middle of an invasion. If HALO could strike at one or more of their bases during the invasion, though, I'd welcome the aid, as it'd surely get at least a couple of them to retreat and go investigate."

Shaking of the deadtime and maybe the sleep he got Andy streches his limbs. He yawns wide and looks around for anyone.

Timmy walks to the lake side, looking around for anyone or anything of interest. He also looks over the lake where he watched Yuki perform earlier.

Main Cabin

Baccata's attention is now entirely upon Reelshka. "You're going to have a sapling? What's it like?" Sorry Justin, but you're getting ignored.

"Y'know it's the weirdest thing," he says to Reelshka, "I'm normally pretty smooth when I want to be covert about something. Must be something in the air here." That something in the air... is Friendship. He also fairly amused that Bacatta didn't notice she was pregnant until now.

Salix's Sapling

"My tree was growing next to a church made of stone, on a hill. There weren't any other trees around, except for the yew my yew came from before my birth. At the bottom of the hill were some old twisted wrecks my yew told me had been trees, but they got hit by a poison wind and died when my yew was very small. Besides those, there weren't any trees nearby." Yews do grow in forests, but I think most in the UK are in churchyards and cemeteries. I could be wrong, though.

"Why couldn't you just go find some trees to see?" The girl looks puzzled now. It's hard to blame her, as there's some significant difference in dryad variations here.

"I can't go too far from my yew, and there weren't any that I could get to." Baccata is based on your dryads, but I have altered her so she's not identical. She's got aspects of Warhammer dryads, too, but she hasn't demonstrated those on-screen yet.

"Not really," Reelshka says, rubbing her stomach absent-mindedly. "We'll need to look into affordable ways of teleport-blocking..."

"There's a magic shop in Mallside. They might have something." Reinholdt suggests.

"I wouldn't expect them to stay there. I was thinking more of hitting from the rear to cause confusion. But a base strike would work. Do you know where any are?" Reinholdt understands. He probably wouldn't be offering if he didn't.

"They've made a base out of the old LANTERN space station. I don't really know about the other ones, though. They've got a clone of mine there, and I've reason to believe they might relocate him soon, at which point I'll instantly know another place you can attack, if all goes well."

"Space, huh?" Well that's doable. There was an entire air base in HALO complete with weird spaceships, aliens, and of all things oddly... an elf. Go figure.

"Well keep me updated if you learn any more."

"Keep the phone. It's as secure as phones can get, and its number is already logged into the MagComputer database."

Magtok abruptly hangs up, without so much as a single goodbye to let Rein know the conversation is over. Looks like that desperation only went so far.

Rein rolls his eyes a little. "Love you too."
He'll put the phone away and get back to work.

"Well, first off, why did you want all this?" Sophie asks.

"Am hope I understand the persons did force me come here. Few humans. Only some few Elven-people from Norosa. Then meet just two, more here, and..." Skye snaps. Things changed quickly. "Make they no sense. Had can not be specific. Do not know names or people, truly."

"It's strange," Reelshka says with a smile. "I'm hungry, I get nauseous sometimes and I think the mood swings are starting. But I don't regret it one bit."

"Maybe I'll drop by there, then," Reelshka says.

Felandria is stretching by the lakeside, ready to go for a swim.

Meanwhile, Marley walks over to the lake, wearing the swimsuit he got from Butler a while back, (I think) and a floating tube. He's also getting ready for a swim, but pauses when he spots Timmy.

"Hello, I haven't see you before. Just came to GLoG?"

But mainly they shun me for being a shapeshifter, even if it is latent." But nobody here cares about neo-feudal semi-hierarchies, metamorphic potential or higher education.

Kevin tries to back away, but there's no escaping the redheaded princess. He blushes through the hug, then stammers something about needing to start his training. Then he exits the scene, stage right, as I depart for the weekend.

Jamie hugs Kevin tightly, then lets him escape for his training, watching the druid-to-be scurry off with a smile before turning back to her other friends.
"Okay! What should we do now?"

Sayuri watches the pair in amusement and a little bit of wistfulness. She wished she could have someone like that...

Shaking herself out of her reverie, the magical girl shrugs and smirks. "Well... we could just stand here and tease you about you and Kevin..."

Justin is all set to congratulate when he's distracted by something incredibly important. "DO goblins lay eggs?" Justin has been working under the assumption goblins mammals (and not related to the platypus).

Mark gives a polite nod of the head to the newcomer.
"Sir and This One arrived earlier this morning."
He's one of the people who doesn't often talk when not spoken to, so right now he doesn't address Fel.

Marley raises an eyebrow at this different speech style, but smiles.

"Ah I see. Well my name is Marley, and what is your's?"

Timmy also notices the giantess but isn't the type to disturb up someone so... giant. Marley interacts first so he has Timmy's attention for now, until the lady decides to say hello. "H-hello. I'm Timmy and he's Mark, It's nice to meet you, Mr. Marley. Have you been here long?"

"Well, I was planning on going swimming myself, so I don't think that I'm the best person to ask that. These two might be a better choice for that task."

Oh my, twelve feet is much bigger up close than he thought. The twelve year old has to stretch his neck to look up at her. "I-I can look after your things ma'am." It's not like he was planning to swim himself, even if he did own a swimsuit.

And then he gives that little salute he always does when accepting a job.

Was that before or after I modified how the dryad tree bond works? I'm not sure I explained the change on screen.
