Re: Girl Genius XV: The Weasel, the Spark, and the Wardrobe
Who? The characters or the writers?
I will say that the story has been moving along rather more quickly than the Mechanicsburg arc.

Re: Girl Genius XV: The Weasel, the Spark, and the Wardrobe
That last panel is so PRECIOUS!
And Vi continues being the practical one.
Maybe this is the werewolf Storm King. At least they won't have to worry about Sparkhounds while in the hanger...

Re: Girl Genius XV: The Weasel, the Spark, and the Wardrobe
Can't say I really understood why any of what Agatha said would stop the monster attacking, unless it really, really hates its own creator...

Re: Girl Genius XV: The Weasel, the Spark, and the Wardrobe
I think its a play on that old "monster runs loose and turns against its creator" thing, like you see with many mad scientist stories. I guess Agatha just has a knack for when to say that sort of thing, and for telling what kind of murderous rage the created monster is in.

It's learning from this experience.
I have a vague feeling something similar happened later, but I can't remember when.

Re: Girl Genius XV: The Weasel, the Spark, and the Wardrobe
Or maybe she just learned something from the encounter with her own dingbots.

Re: Girl Genius XV: The Weasel, the Spark, and the Wardrobe
Yeah its a callback joke, I think it has even been mentioned at another time than that with the whole, "I am your creator, obey me" lines always backfiring.

Re: Girl Genius XV: The Weasel, the Spark, and the Wardrobe
By golly, Agatha knows her tropes! And how to work them. She's just lucky the creature is apparently sentient...
I wonder if they can make friends with it?
But what does it eat and drink down there? It's a pretty massive beast, it must have a large food and water supply.
And I don't see the weasel... Of course, it could be curled up in one of Violetta's pockets.
Yes. And...?
You don't keep the whole of GG in your mind?

Re: Girl Genius XV: The Weasel, the Spark, and the Wardrobe
In fairness, that's a pretty memorable GG line (and also the classic my-creations-have-turned-against-me lines all rolled into one).
I have to admit, this was funny.Rider avatar by Elder Tsofu

Oh, I *like* where I think this is going! It's going to be a very STYLISH escape!
I hope they can find warm clothes before setting off...
