    Default 3.5/PF: Giving Armor Damage Reduction

    I was toying with the idea of giving all armor damage reduction. Light armor would give 1/-, Medium 2/-, and Heavy 3/-. It would help make armor matter a bit more than just stacking other means of AC.

    I think Seerow also had a project on this that was better than the UA version. Oh yeah, here it is.

    Thanks. Nice reads. I'll keep those fixes in mind for my next campaign. I try to avoid major overhauls mid-campaign.

    Alternatively, light armor gives you DR 1, Medium DR 2 and Heavy DR 3. When you get an additional attack from BAB you increase the DR by the same amount. A friend of mine tried this out and it worked ok.
