Of course, now the book (which she dropped) is drenched as well. she'd had fairly short hair before... now? wow. that's a lot of hair.

She's going to watch him with hate in her eyes for a moment. He may have the opportunity to do something else to her if he gets a handle on himself.

Surprise Evil

His projectile ends up being a pretty tame smoke bomb. Low output, but since he's kinda on fire it might obscure his vision enough to make something hilarious happen in his panic.

Brian manages to put his hair out (hey, he's evil, but he's not Hades!) just as the smoke bomb goes off.

And so the retaliatory potion jar that comes sailing out of the smoke cloud, even as Brian beats a hasty retreat, is wobbling and might miss its intended target!

If it hits, though, Miss Tiefling might suddenly find herself sporting a set of wings!

Fleeing Evil?

The kid swears loudly and starts trying to clean himself up a bit, grumbling about people who can give other people better figures (and awesome wings?) and all he got was a pile of slime.

Rolling of eyes ensues. "And I thought wizards, dragons, and the like were all merely part of human myth and fiction. True fiction is something that is difficult to come by in this place. Any threat from any universe could arrive at any time, to say nothing of the threats from more local sources. It's incomprehensible, just how much might arrive to threaten us all."

No, no wings. The passive wards actually work properly this time, sending the jar even further away than it was going before.

She doesn't follow him if he flees, or even if he doesn't, instead moving over to the kid to help him up, "are you alright?"

one hand remains against her chest, holding her torn shirt in place.

A nearby ferret finds itself in the possession of one (1) kickin' pair of wings. With a joyful squeak, it flies away!

From a nearby alleyway comes an Evil Laugh™, then nothing.

It seems Brian has left the area!

"And get stomped," Red says confidently, settling back into his seat.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Excuse me for a sec."
He then takes his shirt off to wring some goop out of it, and also to make sure he hasn't sprouted any vestigial limbs, since he appears to have had one less effect than the girl.

Krystal waves her hand a little. Whichever way you wanna go. I don't really care.

The reduction of clothing on Krystal shows more old scar on her pale skin, mostly at her her knees, elbows, and wrists. Shawna may find it odd for a person with a healing factor to have scars.

[Past the Evil Problems]

"Ugh, I'll have to get a dispel potion for this. You got off lucky," she rubs the end of her oversized ears, "And he destroyed the book I was reading, great."

She doesn't actually have wings at this point. her wards deflected that one.

Meanwhile, continuity goes sproing a bit, to allow for a certain shadowmancer to be shopping in the area!
Her quite scandalously revealing outfit drawing a fair bit of attention as she walks past close enough to hear the conversation.
"...now, why would you want to dispel something like that?" Becky purrs, having no respect for privacy, even when it comes to conversations!

"Shopping it is. As I am unaware of current policy on visitors," Shawna admits, raising an eyebrow and turning to lead the way to the Needle and Thread. "Are you alright? You seem to have quite a history with fighting," she says, motioning to the scars.


The fact Krystal's jeans are rather tight on Shawna might or might not occur to Krystal.

True, but the first potion did three steps, his just did two.
Anyway, he gets his wet shirt back on.
"Well, at least I don't think it got my phone too wetti work, although these clothes are probably almost as wrecked as yours. Oh, I'm Jim by the way."
And then is significantly surprised when a lady in a revealing outfit shows up.

That fact does not escape Krystal. But merely in the form of "hope they don't rip before she gets some new pants".

Krystal shrugs a little. Kinda. These are from fights, but not really from anything hitting me. She brings up a hand and makes a fist, causing a crystal to slide out of each knuckle. This is how I fight, and after so many times of doing it, I guess my healing factor just can't quite keep up. The crystals retract as she opens her hand again.

The tiefling frowns, "I'm Halia,"

It's clear from her expression she doesn't much like Becky. Even just from an appearance standpoint, this girl is bad news.

"Name's Becky. So. Had a potion run-in, did you?" The shadowmancer smirks, crossing her arms just so. "...I dunno what happened, but I gotta say, you look good, dear."

...hopefully Jim won't get a nosebleed.

Jim doesn't get a nosebleed, but he does realize he's having a conversation with two attractive women and he's still covered in goo.
He attempts to make it look like he's still trying to clean himself off and not just being socially awkward.

Halia frowns, "I can be attractive without T and A. or with these damn oversized ears." which, of course, twitch. She hasn't mentioned anything about the hair though, but she's obviously noticed it, given the way her tail is holding onto the end.

"Didn't say you weren't, darlin'. Just that you look mighty fine with 'em too." Becky chuckles and winks, before looking to Jim. "Whats the matter, handsome? Cat gotcher tongue?"

"Uh, no, this just, really weird and uh, kinda awkward. And uh..." he sputters.
Shame on her for messing with the nerd with slight weight problems. What is she, evil?

Halia ignores Becky for now, helping Jim get the slime off, "Ignore her. she's clearly just trying to get our goat. Or at least mine."

Becky gasps, theatrically raising her hand to her lips. "Why, I never. I might be evil, dear, but I'm hardly speciesist." She looks to Jim with a smirk, and goes to slip a card in his pocket as she winks at him. "Call me sometime, handsome," she purrs, before turning to walk away with a smirk.

...that outfit covers nothing in the rear, it should be noted.

Jim doesn't stop her from putting the card in his pocket, but he does facepalm a bit as she exits.
"Thanks, he says to Halia.
Heck of a way to meet someone new, huh? You're right, though. You were plenty pretty before." he says innocently.

With her green skin, the blush on Halia's face turns up purple, "Come on, let's just head over to mallside. I know there's a couple places there that can fix this."

She wears a white dress shirt, held closed by only one button, a plaid skirt that is just long enough to serve its purpose, fishnet stockings, and knee high black boots. Her hair is fairly short, and blond enough to almost be white. She watches Becky approach with a wide grin and a gleam in her eye.

Well, you sure know how to make a first impression.

Becky, spotting the woman, grins back, smirking as she looks her over. "Hey, whether they like you or hate you, best to make a strong impression the first time, I always say," she declares with a smirk.

Ivaz grins and nods. Damn straight. And that outfit definitely helps. She'll casually walk around Becky to get a better look at her. Oh yeah...good impression there.

"I am a member of WATCHTOWER," Shawna explains, smiling. "As an organization, we respond to stop and prevent apocalypse-level events, while individually we fight evil, alone or together. I simply happened to be passing by where the statue robbery was taking place, and attempted to prevent it." It might occur to Krystal that Shawna has not used a single contraction in her unusually precise speech. Or that her skin is completely without any flaws at all, almost creepily so.

And they arrive at the Needle and Thread, and when they step inside Krystal might also recognise Jamie working behind the counter.

Becky chuckles, stretching a bit to show off as Ivaz 'inspects' her. "Why, thanks, but you look pretty impressive yourself," she drawls, putting her hands on her hips as she turns. "So what's an evil girl like you doing in a nice town like this?"

Krystal does notice the speech patterns, but it isn't the first time she's run into somebody who talks like that, so she doesn't find it that strange. As for the lack of any marks on Shawna's skin...well, that could be quite a few things, actually.

Krystal nods a little. That's definitely a good mission. Sounds like a few groups back home, actually...

She'll smile and wave at Jamie.

Ivaz shrugs. Eh, walkin' around, lookin' for puppies to kick. That sorta thing.

And I'm not so big on the "evil" label. Yes, she used air quotes. I prefer to think of it as I know what I like and do exactly that.
