    Default Erikun's Reign of Winter [3.5e] OOC Thread

    For those who might be confused, I have put together a group elsewhere and am introducing them to the forum for the purposes of setting up a RPG. Hence, no recruitment thread at this point, as we're not recruiting anyone. However, we still need to sort out the details before starting an in-character thread.

    Hello everyone, and sorry for the delay. The campaign I'm planning to run will be Pathfinder's Reign of Winter, using the D&D3.5e rules to do so. Please don't go looking up the plot. I'll likely be find with most Pathfinder material as well, if you can show it to me. The game will be starting at level 1.

    The campaign will be starting in the town of Heldren, but will soon be moving to a distant wintery land of Irrisen. As such, I don't want anyone to misassume that they'll be returning back to a hometown frequently (or at all anytime quickly), and so while having housing and locals who know you is fine, don't depend on free access to them as a necessity, please.

    I am requiring that the characters need to at least have knowledge of each other and reasons to work together, and don't end up wanting to kill each other. Preferably all at the same time. We're going to be posting character concepts and sheets here and/or linked in a post, so that I can be familiar with what everyone has.

    Once everyone has decided upon a character that everyone else is fine with, I'll begin the in-character thread.

    Any chance my character can be brought in as being assigned to avenge or right a wrong by the church? For those who know him, he is the local killjoy but isn't unfair, just strict. He would be like the town guard that everyone knows and is only happy to see around when there is a problem they need help with.
