This was a book of conspiracy theories if you ever saw one. Its publication date was 3 years ago, dating it to before the Plasma Event. It went to extreme lengths to provide circumstantial evidence to the true nature of Team Plasma which was old new to you. Occasionally there were names spouted out that were affiliated with the League and Team Plasma, but you remember hearing of a lot of arrests of League officials after the Plasma event. Likely, they were the same the book talked about.

The big message of the book was the Sage Ghetsis was truly in control of Team Plasma, as well as in control of the Unovan League and that King N was just a figurehead.

Eddie
Byron's strong hand steadies you in your chair. Don't you worry bout dem. The dame is a little ruffled by it all, but she won't stray. She'n stubborn 'ne. The others are here fer their own reasons, but they won't go back stabbing or running off from a little gore.

Donny
Ya sure kid whatever ya want. He brought up his fist into a fighting stance, though he didn't release any pokemon.

While she found no information in the book worth a damn, Ennis could at least appreciate the pictures of N. Now there was a piece of eye candy! But if anything, this book was even more useless than the last.

Well, here's hoping Creation: Origin's of our World has something.

"Eh, yeah, yer prolly right."
And then memory hits, and he stupidly goes.
"Hey, you ever hear about the one about the Fuchsia Ninja in the drinking contest?"

You see 3 pokeballs on his hip, so he definitely has pokemon. There was a strange bulge on his right sleeve, which you quickly realize is a concealed switchblade. But most importantly, you notice his gaze is not focused on you, but somewhere behind you. Knowing this, you realize there is another thing breathing nearby and no doubt it was behind you! That cheat!

The punk suddenly lunged forward, leading with left fist, but you know better. You see the switchblade slip out of his sleeve into his palm and flash open as he drives it home. While you saw it coming, he was far faster than you anticipated, the blade sinking into your abdomen for 25 Physical Normal damage.

So you prevented his mon's surprise round and his use of Concealed Weapon (who'd think a Punk is a Dirty Fighter?) Of course he's still faster so he gets the first hit out.

Ennis
This book seemed to be a blend of religious and scientific approaches to the creation of the world. It opened with the standard creation mythos (see World Building Pad). After, there were chapters on each entity and a detailed scientific approach to how they might have been able to do the tasks the mythos said they did. While the science was far above your head, a few things you did understand.

While Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza were called sister and brothers, the book postulates they are not biologically related but simply siblings in purpose. Groudon and Kyogre seem to be able to manipulate rock and water in any form from extended distances, in order to draw enough material to create the earth. Likewise, Rayquaza has control over gaseous molecules.

Near the end of the chapter, there is a list of locations Kyogre, Groudon and Rayquaza seem to have strong connection with. Most were in Hoenn, including Mt. Chimney and the underwater cavern that they were found in originally, as well as the now-fallen Sky Pillar.

Ennis noted this stuff down. The Lakes seemed the only chance she would find them around here, and even then it was no guarantee. Still, better than what she could dredge up about the Aura Guardians.

With her studying done, Ennis heads back to the gym.

The knife hurt, that was what it was designed to do. What the other man didn't realize was that by coming so close, Donny was all the more able to attack back. He threw a feint at the punk's left, but when the defense came up Donny lunged forward with his mouth wide, biting hard.

Book Worm and the Drunk

It was late afternoon by the time Ennis returned to the Gym, being drawn to the break room by the sound of boisterous laughter. She finds a rosy cheeked Byron repeatedly slapping a rather ill looking Eddie across the back.

Donny
Donny's fangs eat air, as a large black dog bounds from the shadows. It digs its fangs into Donny's calf, dealing 41 Physical Dark Damage, and Flinching him. The Punk gritted his teeth as he realized you weren't already down for the count.

Aidan curses as the blow nearly spatters the Grimer across the clearing, quickly recalling the shifted Pokémon and narrowing his eyes at the Machoke. "Nobody ever told me this was meant to be a deathmatch..." he says, voice cold and eyes fixed on his opponent's. His eyes dart around, surveying the group of Pokémon nearby, noting the few larger ones amongst the crowd of Machop as he grips two more of his Pokeballs. "If it wasn't meant to be, then you'd do well to hold back next time. Because now... now, I won't do so either. Xylik, Korex... bring him down. Faint Attack, both of you!" The beams of light lance out, but nothing seems to appear from them... and the bulky fighting type is suddenly jarred by two consecutive blows as the Absol and Gligar blur into existence behind and beside it.

Ennis ignores the 2 drunkards and uses Byron's gym arena, since he couldn't exactly use it right now, and has a sparring match with Loba, both to practice her hand-to-hand as well as to pass the time.

The man cried in pain as the stinger dug deep. He whipped his switch blade around, driving it into Arachnia for 42 Physical Normal Damage. The Mightyena bounds around you, digging its teeth in as well for 40 Physical Dark Damage.

Aidan
The combined assault did far more than the Grimer, but it looked quite resilient to the attack. The Machoke roared a challenge, as the crowd cried in excitement. They seemed to be enjoying your tenacity. The Machoke slide at Korex, dealing 41 Physical Fighting Damage, and -1 Speed CS.

Ennis
Loba stood apart from you on the field, waiting for the match to begin.

Arachnia glares at the knife fighter, quivering in rage. The normally cute pokemon seems to be little more than a seething, scary face.

In his spare moment between the two foes, Donny steps back and chugs a soda pop. That last attack nearly wiped him out and he should have been better prepared.

Arachnia takes the bite from the large, black dog badly. The edges of her vision seem to dim, but she receives the command through that mental link to her Master: "Poison the human."

She throws a sharp limb at the nearest shin of the human with the metal sting, hoping to poison him with her venom.

The connection snapped as the Spinarak lost consciousness and Donny quickly returned her with one hand while calling out Buzz with the other. He sent out the mental link to the Elekid and was gladly received. The situation filtered through him and to the small, yellow pokemon. It was up to Buzz to turn this battle around.

That being said, there was still something Donny could do. He stepped back into the melee and threw another wild bite at the punk.

As you lunge forward, the Punk slammed his knee into you gut for 49 Physical Dark Damage. You teeth sank in as the Mightyena took a big mouthful of dirt.

The Machoke staggered back, the attacks taking their tole. He raised a hand when the crowd suddenly grew quiet. The Machoke froze mid-strike as all attention turned to the massive Machamp, who held one arm aloft.

Slowly the Machoke backed up and out of the arena, as the Machamp lowered his arm, folding both pairs as he studied you. One arm, the lower left, pointed at you, then Korex and finally Xylik in turn. He repeated the motion two more times, before moving from his crude throne and into the arena. He pointed then at his own arms, each in turn, slowly. He repeated that gesture, 4 times.

After he had done so, he crossed both arms again and stared, waiting for a response.

After watching the gestures for a moment, Aidan nods, a slight smirk coming to his face. "Alright, then... Korex, I don't want you going into this already injured. Eleara will take over for you..." He puts actions to words as the Absol nods and steps back, recalling the Dark-type and releasing the Vaporeon in its place. "Let's go... Xylik, open up with a Poison Sting from above! Elly, Hidden Power!" The Gligar responds by ascending above the fighting type and launching a poisoned barb from his tail, while Elly releases a burst of powerful winds around herself, battering at the Fighting type's arms.

Xylik's barb dug into the Machamp's flesh, but it hardly phased him. He guarded himself from Eleara's Hidden Power behind his arms, as he charged forward. He ignored the mon however, going straight for Aidan. However, a divot in the arena floor caused him to stumble and lose his momentum.

Aidan frowns as the larger Pokémon moves towards him, and he whips his disc-blade forward at the fighter before stepping back a bit. "Xylik, Bulldoze him. Elly, put him on ice with Aurora Beam!" The two Pokémon quickly respond, Xylik diving down to stab his tail into the earth and cause a powerful tremor that rocks the Machamp, and Eleara firing off a blast of cold, prismatic light.

He quickly wrapped you in a tight hug, using all four arms. His powerful legs kicked at the ground and the pair of you were inverted. Both of you came crashing down on your heads, though you took the brunt of the attack, 60 Physical Fighting.

The Punk staggers back, bleeding profusely and looking positively ill. You're a nutter! Get out of here! The Mightyena barked ferociously at Donny, who couldn't help but flee.

The Punk tried to scramble away, but the blow to the square of his back dropped him. The dog howled and charged, knocking Buzz out of the way. It hovered over the unconscious trainer, growling menacingly, though not moving an inch.

The barb barely pierces his skin, as the spinning blade bounces off harmlessly. However, the poison on the barb sunk in as the water washed over him. He shouted a challenge as he charged forward, gripping you again and throwing the two you to the floor for 66 Physical Fighting.
