    The narrow winding cavern leads you round a couple of tight corners, the torch light illuminating the slime covered walls and murky pools of saltywater on the floor.

    Darth leans against the door and with his weight slowly eases the door open revealing a barrel shaped chamber beyond. A torn and shredded on the body some 6ft away but a more pressing threat looming at him as the three shambling pirates in rags shamble towards him. Long dead flesh yearning for flesh blood. Zombie pirates!! 3 of them

    Moving surprisingly quickly the zombies lurch forward quickly, arms outstretched as they seek to feed on poor Darth's plump flesh! All three of them battering and savaging the hapless young thief! - the tide of flesh eating monsters bearing him down to the floor as two of them chew upon his neck and arms leaving him on the floor rapidly dying as his throat lies torn apart.

Best to chop these rotters into small enough pieces to feed the crabs and fishes...". Suiting word to action he lashes out at the nearest one... kicking it off Darth as he stands astride the downed thief's body... a headless zombie now twitching on the ground.

    Ophelia, clearly startled by the appearance of the undead and hesitant to move chimes in seeming them attack so efficiently.

    Oh no! Darth! James, push forwards...i need to reach Darth quickly.

    Though she is not quite ready to act yet being distracted early in the fight by the presence of the undead.

    Low initiative again! Anyway, its a good position to react from.

    When its her action straight after Teach, Ophelia will move next to Darth, kneeling down to place a hand on his wounds and cast CLW on him from her daily spells. (happy for you to roll the heal if it succeeds and im not hit on doing it)

    BTW im assuming Soloman has the wand since he bought it and nothing has transferred yet.

    James glances up ahead and shakes his head whispering to Dirkwood... "Who knew that zombies like the taste of thief. Keep Ophelia clear of the chaos"

    that said he rolls forward ducking behind Solomon using the inquisitor as cover, halberd spinning acrobatically around before he swings it sideways like a giant axe aiming to sever the nearest Zombie's head... The spinning blade slamming into its head before a dull double thump followed as head and body collapsed on the dirty salty floor. A smile at Ophelia and Solomon and a "Don't seem that fast to me..."

    THe party are brutal in their assault on the zombies. Two falling in scant seconds to the wide bladed longsword of the Inquisitor and the massive halberd of the Captain.

    Even as Ophelia crouches healing Darth the other pirate steps around the corner levelling his pistol and blowing the last zombie's arm clean off at the elbow. Unperturbed it lunges forward with its wide broken toothed maw aiming for Solomon's throat! The jaws clamp down - still soaked with Darth's blood they tear a bloody streak in Solomon's throat and chest tearing a massive strip off his chest leaving him savaged and near death...

    Even as it does so Darth rolls to his feet, flashing dagger unable to find a purchase and Solomon copies, the longsowrd seeking to tear the beast from stem to stern. A wheezing "someone kill it. Someone kill it now."

    The massive chopping blade of Teach reaching in from the edge seeking to hew through its shoulder and separate its head from its shoulders... "Damn. It is bloody fast!"

    Even as Teach and Solomon flub and miss with their attacks Darth circles the wounded zombie and with a brutal slash of the heavy dagger drives it between the zombie's vertebrae severing most of its neck...

    Solomon staggers back bleeding profusely still. Reaching for his waist he pulls out a gnarled stick and taps it lightly to his throat. A cough, the blue energy healing the damage and he can speak again. "Wonder what else we get down here eh? Ophelia, here you can have one of these sticks."

    Ophelia quickly grabs a stick and gives Soloman and Darth a good look over in the slight pause from the undead. She also casts guidance on as many of the group (except herself) as she can, one by one before the undead's second wave gets too close unless she sees the need for using the wand.

    Solomon smiles and offers thanks as Ophelia gives him the blessing. "These fellows don't look too long dead, look like local too eh?"

    The doors bend and bang bulging inwards as the heavy blows on the other side begin to splinter them. Solomon glances at the others, sliding his heavy shield from his back onto his left arm and tightening the grip on his sword. "left, right or retreat?" he asks to room in general pointing at the way back where Dirkwood seems to be vanishing.

    The party falls back, the inquisitor and the deposed Captain acting as the rear guard as they dash back through the narrow tunnels to the small pit that they began in. As they get there Dirkwood bursting in just in time to see the rope rapidly tumbling down to the wet floor at his feet.

    A figure outlined against the sky above smiling a cruel and sardonic smile laughs a loud belly laugh. "this is a pretty pickle my sweets isn't it. I hadn't expected you back soon. But maybe you've met Penkus and his merry men." A large gobbet of tobacco stained spit follows, "Hopefully with you out the picture my lovely sister will get the message and leave the city eh? But what's that noise I hear...." his words and question are obvious as you can hear the sound of wood splintering and shattering and the baying of the hungry undead and the pitter patter of flesh on stone as they come bursting round the corner to meet halberd and blade...

    Vanthus watching from above grins happily. "This'll be worth a watch, a gold says the tall lanky one with the pole is the first to be ate"

    Down in the pit Solomon looks at Teach, "Bastard, if I didn't want to find him earlier, I do now. And now it'll hurt him a lot more." Seconds later he shrugs down behind his shield prepared to sell his life dearly...
