I'll trade critiqe for critique on the new version of my Beastman. (Or at the very least, an answer to my question in the second post)

Re: Ngilop's Critique exchange for homebrew.
Looked at your wizard Not gonna get infractioned for thread necro as now I am super leary about anything like that.. And I got the same opinion of it as I did the pathfinder advanced playtest.
Is this supposed to be a Wizard on crack and steroids? if so then you did a bang up job. I do like the 'eternal' spell.
I think this class only has a place if the PhB Wizard, PhB Sorcerer, warmage, dread necro, beguiler, and warlock are all replaced, Since you wizard does the same things but vastly in a superior way.
Its a class that I myself would never play. But I am just not a power player. So classes that I can tell are a bit too much out of the gate I steer away from, and I don't think there is a way to actually tone your wizard down.

Re: Ngilop's Critique exchange for homebrew.
I'm not sure how you think it's mechanically superior. It has a rather severely limited spell list. It doesn't get access to the global sor/wiz list like PHB wizards do: the only spells it gets are the ones provided by its mastery and mysteries.

Hmm... don't suppose you could do something with my Base Prestige classes, the Arcane Archer has already been done, but the Arcane Trickster would be nice.
I can do something in return, too.

Re: Ngilop's Critique exchange for homebrew.
I would have liked to get some feedback on my Runecaster (link in sig). It's seriously old now though so posting may count as thread necromancy. :(
But for reference, it's intended to replace Wizards / Sorcerers in the setting it's used in.
Edit: I'm going to submit some Prestige Classes for it, so that'll justify (I hope!) any attempts people make to comment...Last edited by Wargamer; 2014-02-27 at 01:49 PM.

Re: Ngilop's Critique exchange for homebrew.
I'd appreciate some PEACHing for my Scout fix (sig below). Mechanically it should ideally be around (or a bit higher) the playing field as the ToB classes and Bard, except plenty higher in terms of archetypal scout roles of Perception and Stealth.
I'm not too familiar with PF, but if you have recent 3.5 projects I can do some PEACHing as well

Re: Ngilop's Critique exchange for homebrew.
If you would be willing to, I would love for you to look at a Martial Initiator that I made a few days ago, It has passed my DM's balance check, for two campaigns, and I am somewhat proud of it... It uses the Akashic Magic rules, Path of War stuff, most notably the Radiant Dawn Discipline. There is a Playtest Version of the Radiant Dawn discipline available here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...7HeKumN4/edit#
My class is called the Celestial Adept: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
(I think something might have gone wrong with the hyperlink feature, here is the straight link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing )
Even if you never get around to looking at it, or decide that it isn't worth your time, thank you for considering it, and letting me share my brainchild here.
Hope you have a great day!78% of DM's started their first campaign in a tavern. If you're one of the 22% that didn't, copy and paste this into your signature.

Re: Ngilop's Critique exchange for homebrew.
Heya, Ralcos! I reviewed your Adept, and I have to say, I loved it! I appreciate the amount of versatility that they gain through the class, and I've been looking for something like this, which allows me to dabble in a little bit of everything. I would suggest makin' the "Casting Points" a bit clearer, in both their usage, and their role in the class as a whole. I wish you the best in your endeavors with revising, and using the class, and I hope you will take the time to look at my class!
(Shamelessly inserting my homebrew for review)
