Re: What '-mancer' would you be?
Just a nitpick/historical information: Ant(h)ropomany is actually a real practice. It involves divining the future by examining human entrails.
i am going to make it through this year
if it kills me
i am going to make it though this year
if it kills me

Re: What '-mancer' would you be?
Mancamancer. Jack-of-all-trades, with a slight inclination toward metamagic, building new spells like Lego constructions.

Splodemancer! The power to make explosions. I mean, what problem can't be solved with liberal application of explosions?

I hate to be unoriginal and say pyromancer (I am the Flame Master) so I will give Seli control of my brain for the duration of the post.
Beatamancer. The power of drumming is the best magic ever, and if you play it loud enough you can annoy your neighbors. Thanks Uncle Festy for the wonderful Ashling Avatar

Geekomancer. I could exert my powers through actual science, technobabble, geek references... and the fact that I'd be in a comic about a turn-based strategy game would mean that my very location would cause me to grow stronger with every instant.
I would not only control the world, but I'd have made so many Monty Python and Babylon 5 references that the readers would not fail to love me.Legacy of the Bieth - my B/X D&D campaign setting. Abbasid/Almoravid North Africa, spaghetti westerns, and Roadside Picnic.

Re: What '-mancer' would you be?
"A splode" comes from Homestar Runner.
Specifically, this Strong Bad E-mail.
It's become so referenced though that not everyone knows where it's actually from.
It is indeed a reference to bad translation though.Last edited by Madalin; 2007-01-08 at 03:52 AM.

Re: What '-mancer' would you be?
As far as I'm concerned it's a recurring theme on Uncyclopedia, which makes it Netspeak in my books...

Re: What '-mancer' would you be?
By the way, if I were to answer this seriously..
Either a Chronomancer, or perhaps a Jehovamancer. All fear my wrath.
If I were to be Unoriginal, I'd go with Cryomancer, or Necromancer.
Otherwise I stick with Pervmancer.Avatar by Abardam.

Re: What '-mancer' would you be?
I may be wrong here, but in necromancer for example, the necro part comes fro the greek word "nekros" meaning dead or death or something, but the "mancer" part refers to were you draw power from, in short, a necro mancer draws power from the dead, so do you buy paintings and eat them if your an Artamancer. well not neccassaraly buy but you get it (i hope)
moving on, I would be a chocomancer! conjour up a lump of chocolaty goodnes anywhere *pats belly in a sickening way*

Re: What '-mancer' would you be?
While I wouldn't mind being a pastamancer, I simply can't cook.
In reality I would most definitely be a tardy elf or tardy half-elf procrastimancer (and a high-level one at that).

Re: What '-mancer' would you be?
I'll be an aeromancer because it would be awesome to fly around and summon gusts of wind to knock people around, hehe. Plus it may give me power over farts too which has its uses.
