The young healer seems a little reluctant to leave, but he seems reassured by Nina's brawn. "All right." He glances at his companions. "We hunt?" He dashes outside and looks for a dark corner.

"We hunt." With this abrupt token of agreement, Tyrgen also goes outside and glances around for a concealed corner.

There is a dark, concealed corner a bit further down the street.

Don't bother with that, let's just hunt. It'll be slower, but we won't get attacked. Karl walks down the street, sniffing. (We do get scent and low-light vision in all our forms)

"Yes, it would be unwise to run a round like that in such a big city.", says Lisaa and follows the trail of the thief.

Bronsk looks relieved that the night's plans don't involve changing. He nods and follows suit.

The trail leads them to the gates of the city, where the new scent of a horse along with the hoofmarks on the ground, show that the thief has switched from running on foot to riding a horse. The hoofmarks and the trail both lead into the forest outside the city's perimeter.

"It looks like we should be able to change soon..." suggests Tyrgen, with a little trepidation. How long has it been? A year? Two?

Well, shrugs Karl. I guess we carry on. We could do run faster on all fours, but I don't want to be shot by a huntsman.

Bronsk nods, a trifle nervously.
"I smell much better as wolf...but let us at least wait until we reach the forest, if we must."

Tyrgen nods, and leads the way towards the woods, following the trail as he goes

"Yes, let's change soon when we are in the forest. I want to find a secure place for my belongings though.", says Lisaa and follows the trail.

"I prefer to tie my things up in the fork of a branch. But Bronsk's belt is a brilliant solution. I should try the same with my backpack."

Bronsk smiles a little bashfully in the darkness.
"It was a gift from mine uncle."

In wolf form, the group has no problems with following the trail left behind from the thief. Bronsk finds that it is oddly familiar though. After a few hours of travelling through the forest, the sun begins to rise in the horizon, and another hour later, the group arrives at the end of the trail. By a house in the middle of the forest. Karl and Lisaa immediately recognize it as very similar to the museum, with Bronsk and Tyrgen realizing it only slightly later. The horse is standing outside the house, bound to a tree. However it is obviously very frightened by the groups presence, as it is pawing at the ground and tugging at the reins.

(Just a small reminder that your things drop from your body if you change and the items can't be worn on your new body. So unless you have some means of carrying the items, you'll have to hide them under a tree.)

Lisaa wiggles out of her backpack (perhaps with the help of the others) and tells the others to surround the house. She looks out for openings like windows.

((It should be possible to jump through a closed window if the shutters are open. Glass and wooden braces should brake and a werewolves' DR should protect from injuries.))

Bronsk sniffs around the house and freezes abruptly. He sniffs the air a few more times, and sits down on his haunches, his yellow eyes sharp. A ghost of a growl rumbles in his throat.

Looking up from depositing his backpack and strapped-on-glaive(!) in a handy sheltered spot, the wolf Tyrgen looks quickly in the direction of Bronsk, then follows the line of his gaze.

Bronsk slowly rises, and he growls a short sentence in the tongue of wolves
"The woman from the sewers. It is her."

Karl raises from his haunches, his body shifting to a humanoid shape, yet still wolfen, the bag with his clothes falling from his jaws where he had held it. I told you didn't I, all was not what it seemed there, he growls in a twisted approximation of human speech.

The yellow-eyed wolf glances sidelong at his companions, his shaggy fur almost seeming to float in the night. moving quietly, he pads around the cabin carefully, making sure the cabin is not a distraction.

The thief is most definately inside the cabin. Walking around the cabin reveals that there are two places where the shutters aren't closed. There is one on the first floor, into the main room of the house, and on the bedroom of the second floor. A few times, the shadow of an individual inside the house can be seen moving around.

On Bronsk's return from his circuit of the building, Tyrgen pads over to him and asks what he saw in the language of wolves. He seems a little more at ease in this form, although he takes due caution not to be too visible from the hut's windows (Hide (1d20+6)[22]).

The yellow-eyed wolf rumbles a reply
"She's inside. two windows; first floor and second floor bedroom. I'll watch the windows from outside. You three can go in. Fine?"
Bronks rises and stalks to a choice vantage point, and waits for the others to make their move.

Karl growls, alright. He mutters, and then his form shifts, appearing like that of the woman from the sewers, that he saw earlier. This ought to confuse them, give us a few precious seconds if it comes to violence.

"Now that we have catched up with him I would be more comfortable with my equipment, wether it comes to a fight or not.", says Lisaa. She takes the backpack with her muzzle and disappears with it behind some shrubbery.

"I agree," states Tyrgen simply, and does the same.

Inside the house, you find that it is in surprisingly good shape for being so old. There is no trace of rot inside the house, only a thick layer of dust on most objects, and the footprints of a human female leading up to the bedroom on the second floor. You can hear her mumbling something from the room.
