Well, Mr E's system still has access to the cameras and a few of the defenses, but those defenses are focused around protecting his room. Those are still working.

Pretty much any altitude you want it to be as long it isn't extreme in any direction I think Felandria.

My mental image hovers in between 1000-2000 meters (taller than the tallest building, but below cloud level) unless it's moving or under attack or something, in which case it can go higher.

Skyside is probably pretty damn cold most of the time, actually. Ouch.

Being [many] miles away is usually a good one. Plus Jace's house is warded to heck and back.

May I suggest it goes something like this:
Clegg can't teleport Celica due to Jace's wards, eventually one of his attempts happens while Celica is out of a warded area, and Celica gets teleported.
Now, what to do about her aliveness when she is teleported?

Well, not in that timeline it wouldn't; she was at Jace's a whole day.
Plus, again, I'm fairly sure Clegg isn't a good enough mage to lock-on and teleport-nap someone from twenty miles away.

I thought Celica was a vampire? The negative field of magic would attempt to instantly turn her into an undead, but if it fails (Which it can), it'll just knock her out.

My goal is simple: to ruin Clegg's day. And then to ruin tomorrow, when he reforms. Ruin all his days after that, in fact. Everywhere he goes, Kynegetis will be there waiting. Every time he tries to do something, the Huntress will show up to ruin his plans.

When a villain is mindlessly odious enough that you've gotten me considering entering large combat scenes in the future (as in not the one going now) to make him pay by means of blood and bile and teeth and terror-vomit, you know you've got a real stinker.
