forgive me if this sounds blunt, but is there literary anything you can do that doesn't involve talking stuff to death, or sleeping with it?

Question, does my readied action to activate all-consuming rampage activate before the attacks targeting me? Because that first attack will connect if I'm not in a rage, and the rage will also affect my AoO.

I thought it activates because the first person to get attacked at was not you so yes it activates that why I assume all attacks against you missed unless I am mistaken ...

    EDIT: All up!!!!

So that will kill one of them and as I keep saying everyone is up so durmak gets to go same with the newbie and anyone else still standing. Don't worry about the orc leader and the troll that's for the new player to handle.

Just for an FYI bogard, I'm warforged, which just means at negatives all I can do is take limited action. I can't/don't bleed out. And even if I "died" all that happens is I go inert until repaired/healed back to 0. That is why warforged are arguably my favorite 3.5 race.

Well, in that case I completely wasted my turn when I could have been stabilizing Carrify or diplomancing the troll. Not your fault though.

well I will let you edit your post so you can stabilize carrify instead.

And for the orcs there is only 6 of them and only cr 1/2 I didn't think they would have been this strong...good to know.

I guess this game is dead for my first game it lasted longer then I thought I could have run it.

I would like your feedback on how I did and what I can improve on.

    okay then.

    the good:
•the possibility to try out new ideas.
•the effort put into the game. I could see how you were trying.

    the bad:
•the challenge ratings seemed to be rather high. Perhaps this was intentional? I don't know, but nonetheless it bugged me.
•replying to each individual Ic post. This is very much a personal preference thing, but I just felt it made the thread feel a bit... Cluttered.

    the ugly:
•the whole demigod bit (yes, I found the character creation thread). Level inappropriate encounters and posting styles are understandable and personal things. But it seemed that you went out of your way to HIDE the thread, which I quite can't wrap my head around. I would have a lot more to say about the matter, but I think this'll get my point across.

hopefully this helped, I tried to be constructive where appropriate.

Really Really Really need to work on encounter levels and power. Troll for example is a CR 5 by itself, not including the orcs which are CR 1 each, meaning each orc singularly is usually a fair encounter for a lvl 1 group, and to have both and then some means bad things will happen. Then the initial break from the jail, NAKED lvl 1 characters versus over wbl npcs in fullplate will lose everytime when we have to go through them to get out.

It seemed like you had a good idea of what you were wanting/where to go, but the encounter execution/jumping from one fight to the next really put me off from things, especially needing downtime to get things started with my character to be able to do more then plink with a crossbow every other turn.

I guess that could have been a little much well this is what I was thinking the orc leader and the troll were for the demigod and you needed to fight of the other orcs. Also it told me they were cr 1/2 the 7 wolves each were cr 1 I thinking in the first recruitment thread I said it might be more dm vs players but I tried to shift the balance when I could.

As for the encounters I was trying to make it difficult but I didn't think it was that bad maybe next time less foes but a little higher cr like a 2 cr 2 instead of 6 cr 1/2s

I will try to improve on my dming in the future.

It wasnt you, it was the huge blackout on gitp. Killed a whole host of games.

I personally had loads of fun, you did a good job at keeping it entertaining for a noncombatant, which was impressive considering it was a hacknslash.

Might I ask how much XP I earned from the trolls/orcs battle? I'm going to keep using this character, I'll have her backstory be captured by the orcs as a slave whenever I bring her into my next roleplay.

(and how much XP would I earn if I were the only surviving party member? :P )
